Strawberry Pop Pop Pop chapter 79

Su Li was quite the guest, and he even brought along several gifts.

First was an expensive large fruit basket, something that was undoubtedly bought by his mother, Su Ling. Then there were several big bags of milk tea, fried chicken, potato chips, and plenty of game cards and comic books that Su Li had brought himself. All of these were essential items for a homebody like him and indispensable for daily life.

Unfortunately, the current Gu Nuan didn’t have much time to read comics or play games. It wasn’t that he was dealing with Han Yang; it was that he couldn’t be away from Han Yang.

However, his clingy behavior had improved slightly today. When he had just woken up in the morning, Han Yang deliberately stayed away for fifteen minutes, and Gu Nuan didn’t feel uncomfortable. However, there was a slight sense of disappointment in his heart.

Gu Nuan felt like he hadn’t seen Su Li in a long time. He held Su Li’s hand in a daze, and his legs trembled slightly.

Su Li didn’t notice his legs but asked with concern, “How are you feeling? Is your gland recovery going well?” Su Li always felt that Gu Nuan’s treatment process couldn’t be as simple as it sounded. He sighed and continued, “Your glands have made you suffer a lot. Fortunately, it will truly get better this time. Gu Nuan, is home treatment very difficult for you? I can see that you’ve lost weight.”

“Um… it’s okay.” Gu Nuan hesitated and asked, “Have I lost a lot of weight?”

“Not a lot, but you have lost some.” Su Li took out the fried chicken from a plastic bag while saying, “This fried chicken place is really popular. I waited for two hours to buy it. If you like it, I’ll buy it for you next time. I’ve been doing well working at the convenience store recently, and the boss even gave me a raise, so you don’t need to be polite with me.”

Su Li was generous and didn’t mind sharing with Han Yang as well.

However, Han Yang was still downstairs in the living room, talking with Ji Mu, Gu Yuanchen so he couldn’t enjoy the hot fried chicken just yet.

Gu Nuan and Su Li were chatting in the small living room upstairs.

Due to Han Yang’s strong pheromones in the bedroom, Su Li couldn’t enter. Gu Nuan endured the discomfort and sat on the couch, eating the fried chicken that Su Li had handed to him while drinking milk tea with a straw. He enjoyed Su Li’s shoulder massage.

Su Li was taken aback. “Am I your servant?”

“Next time when you get marked, I’ll serve you the same way,” Gu Nuan said weakly, barely able to retort.

Su Li heard this and became excited. He glanced downstairs and then leaned close to Gu Nuan’s ear, asking in a secretive tone, “What does it feel like to be marked? Is it comfortable? Does an Alpha really become ten times bigger down there after bonding?”

Gu Nuan spurted out a mouthful of milk tea, causing Su Li to step back several paces.

“What’s wrong with you, Su Li?” Gu Nuan coughed a few times and nearly choked on his own tea.

Su Li sat down and said sheepishly, “I was just curious, after all, I have an Alpha now…” He continued, “Sorry, I forgot how easily embarrassed you get. I won’t tease you like this again.”

Gu Nuan felt relieved and signaled for Su Li to come closer. He lowered his voice and said in a playful tone, “you’re actually right, it gets bigger.”

Su Li’s heart skipped a beat, and he eagerly asked, “I have another question!”

“Go ahead,” Gu Nuan assumed a senior-like posture. “I’m an open book.”

Su Li looked left and right, then quickly asked in Gu Nuan’s ear, “Is it true that an Alpha’s… you know, is really ten times larger than ours?”

Gu Nuan: “…”

Gu Nuan: “Leave, don’t come back.”

But Su Li didn’t leave. “Is Han Yang’s very small, then?”

“…How could an Alpha be ten times larger than us?! Human organs can’t be that exaggerated!” Gu Nuan felt like ordering several middle school physiology books online and having them shipped to Su Li’s house.

Seeing Gu Nuan’s exaggerated expression, Su Li couldn’t help but burst into laughter. He was deliberately teasing Gu Nuan. It had been so long since they last saw each other, and he couldn’t resist having some fun. Fortunately, Han Yang was downstairs at the moment; otherwise, Su Li might have faced another beating.

Gu Nuan lightly kicked Su Li, but he ended up clutching his own waist, feeling sore and unable to move.

He had been sore so much these days and at times his gland would hurt that his tears flowed immediately.

But Su Li was shocked.

Su Li didn’t dare to tease him any longer and quickly grabbed some tissues, gently wiping Gu Nuan’s face. “Why are you crying after just a few words? Quickly, stop crying, or Han Yang will kill me if he sees you like this!”

“Is it because of what I said?.”

Su Li laughed. “Why are you really crying? Come on, stop crying, or Han Yang will be mad!”

“I can’t believe you’re actually crying. My goodness.” Su Li wiped Gu Nuan’s face carefully. Before he could finish, Han Yang suddenly appeared.

The atmosphere instantly became tense.

Su Li’s hand froze as he touched Gu Nuan’s cheek. If he had a chance to start over, he would definitely choose to let Gu Nuan wipe his own tears!

He cleared his throat and explained to Han Yang, “We’re both Omegas…”

But before he could finish, Han Yang cut in, “You can go find another Omega.”

Su Li twitched at the corner of his mouth. He actually wanted to say, “What kind of relationship could there be between two Omegas other than friendship? Please don’t get jealous.”

Perhaps he had forgotten something he said when he was a child, which left a deep impression on Han Yang.

Fortunately, Gu Nuan intervened, handing Han Yang a milk tea that Su Li had bought. “Brother, Su Li got one for you too. It’s really delicious, and the fried chicken is great too.” He noticed that Su Li still had an unopened bag of fried chicken and milk tea, so he hurriedly gave him a way out. “Why did you buy so much? Are you going somewhere to see someone else?”

Su Li was relieved that Gu Nuan saved the situation and said, “Oh, right, I have somewhere to be!”

Han Yang didn’t care if Su Li had somewhere else to be or not. He coldly relayed a message, “Uncle Ji said you should stay and have dinner with us.”

“Unfortunately, I actually have plans for tonight,” Su Li said, almost laughing, and he told Gu Nuan, “Liang Xie lives in the same apartment building as you. The extra milk tea and fried chicken are for him.”

As he mentioned Liang Xie, Su Li blushed and touched the back of his neck saying. “Actually, I’ve been coming here quite often lately.”

Gu Nuan was surprised. “Liang Xie also lives here?”

“He lives on the 20th floor. I’ll introduce you to him sometime,” Su Li said eagerly before turning to the still cold-faced Han Yang. “Do you know Liang Xie? He’s my Alpha, extremely handsome and stylish.”

Implying: I have an Alpha now, so stop being jealous of me!

Han Yang raised an eyebrow slightly, and he hadn’t forgotten about that matter.

Considering Gu Nuan’s situation, it was Han Yang who escorted Su Li to the door. Su Li just wanted to get out of Han Yang’s sight as quickly as possible, to avoid any strange confrontations.

However, before Su Li could change his shoes, he suddenly heard Han Yang call out to him, “Su Li.”

“?”

“The Liang family is quite complicated, so be careful on your own,” Han Yang said in a deep voice, as if offering a friendly reminder.

Su Li didn’t understand. “What do you mean? Do you know the Liang family personally?”

“I only know his brother,” Han Yang replied. “In any case, be cautious, especially with Liang Xie’s mother. I’m not very clear about the rest.” He raised the milk tea in his hand, his expressionless face relaxing slightly. “Thanks. In the future, come visit Gu Nuan more often. He was really happy to see you today.”

Once Su Li left, Han Yang placed the untouched milk tea in the refrigerator, thinking that Gu Nuan could have it later.

In the kitchen, Ji Mu and Gu Yuanchen were discussing what dishes to prepare for dinner. Since Aunt Xu had taken a two-day leave for a personal matter, they were determined to prepare a special meal for the kids tonight.

Gu Nuan leaned against the kitchen door, just like in his childhood, joyfully being the third wheel and chiming in, “We should make braised spare ribs.”

Ji Mu was startled by his sudden appearance. “Can you please not sneak up like that?”

Gu Nuan chuckled and continued. “We should also make the braised beef that my brother likes.”

Gu Yuanchen rejected his food order. “It’s already so late; we don’t have time to braise the beef.”

“It’s not too late. I can braise it tonight, and they can eat it tomorrow.” Ji Mu had already started preparing the beef, smiling all the while. “Tomorrow, Han Yang’s new TV drama is going to premiere, right? I can prepare some sliced braised beef for you guys to snack on while watching.”

Han Yang happened to walk over. “Uncle Ji, I’m just a small supporting character.”

“Supporting characters are still part of the TV drama, and they’re equally important,” Gu Yuanchen added cheerfully as he helped Ji Mu. He also took out two tomatoes from the shopping bag. “Gu Nuan, how about I make you some tomatoes? You used to love them, right?”

Gu Nuan shook his head repeatedly, refusing vehemently. Gu Yuanchen’s candied tomatoes were the worst-tasting tomatoes in the world, and Gu Nuan had learned that the hard way in his childhood.

Seeing Gu Yuanchen getting ready to make his infamous candied tomatoes, Gu Nuan hurriedly pulled Han Yang into the kitchen and pushed him inside while saying, “Brother, please save the tomatoes!”
