Stars run to him

Stars run to him chapter 41

Will he do whatever he wants to me?

Lin Yuxing had certainly heard of the phrase practice makes perfect. He even learned about it in elementary school and applied it to his studies and life.

But he had never heard that kissing skills could improve within an hour.

During dinner time, Lin Yuxing sat in the hotel restaurant with slightly red lips, “pitifully” chewing on the delicious dinner.

Sitting across from him was the famous cold-hearted school hunk of C University, Gu Zhongyi.

At that moment, the school hunk smiled and gazed affectionately at him. Moreover, that school hunk was cutting the steak for him attentively.

Lin Yuxing felt a bit uncomfortable with that sudden change in their relationship. He blushed and turned his head, saying awkwardly, “Don’t look at me…”

“Okay.”

Lin Yuxing turned back and found Gu Zhongyi still looking at him.

Lin Yuxing: “Stop looking.”

Gu Zhongyi: “If we’re sitting face to face, and I can’t look at you, then where should I look?”

Lin Yuxing: “…”

Before long, a plate of sliced steak was placed in front of Lin Yuxing.

Gu Zhongyi thoughtfully said, “Take your time.” He cautioned, “Be careful not to touch your wound.”

Lin Yuxing’s lips felt numb, so he could only take small bites of the beef. As he ate, he couldn’t help but say in a dejected tone, “Why didn’t you say that when you kissed me earlier?”

He wasn’t blaming Gu Zhongyi, he just didn’t understand. Was it normal for his mouth to swell up after a kiss?

Lin Yuxing was experiencing his first love and had little experience. He didn’t know what a normal kiss was supposed to be like, but in any case, it shouldn’t have turned out like this, right?

He rubbed his own lips and couldn’t help but think of the affectionate scenes between the two of them.

His heart warmed, and he dared not dwell on it any longer.

Gu Zhongyi evaded the question and smoothly picked up some vegetables for Lin Yuxing. “Eat them together with the meat. You’re too thin.”

“Why did you change the topic?”

“Their egg custard is good.”

“…”

“Look at this menu. Everything looks great.”

Lin Yuxing had no choice but to look at the menu, and he was surprised to find that his attention had indeed been diverted by the delicious food. “Can they really put such a large lobster on the egg custard?”

Lin Yuxing wasn’t one to hold grudges, but he was a foodie. In the face of a meal, he had to put everything else aside.

His gaze shifted downward, and when he saw the price of the egg custard, he blurted out, “So expensive.”

Gu Zhongyi was about to speak when a phone call interrupted him.

He glanced at the caller ID, got up, and answered the call on the side. In less than ten minutes, he sat back at the table and asked the waiter to order the egg custard.

Lin Yuxing wanted to stop him and whispered, “This is too expensive!”

Gu Zhongyi assured Lin Yuxing not to worry about it and continued, “I got a call from Li Yuan.”

Lin Yuxing paused his chopsticks for a moment, still feeling reluctant about the whole situation, and his expression didn’t seem too pleased.

Gu Zhongyi said, “After we finish eating, we can discuss it.”

After the meal, Lin Yuxing had eaten quite a lot. He had always had a big appetite, and Gu Zhongyi was used to it.

Gu Zhongyi ordered two cups of hot tea and started discussing the matter.

“Li Yuan contacted me and said that your aunt wants to see you.”

Gu Zhongyi wasn’t sure about Lin Xiufeng’s attitude, and he couldn’t rule out the possibility of Lin Xiufeng and Cheng Rong being in alliance. So he said, “It’s getting late today, and you need rest. Even if you want to meet, it should be tomorrow.”

Lin Yuxing didn’t object. He didn’t know how he should approach the whole situation.

Like Gu Zhongyi, he had no certainty about Lin Xiufeng’s true intentions.

Lin Yuxing made a reasonable guess that the words he used to persuade Lin Xiufeng to divorce Cheng Rong that night might have been the catalyst for that whole incident. Otherwise, Cheng Rong wouldn’t have hurriedly sold him off the next morning.

He speculated that Lin Xiufeng had told Cheng Rong about what they discussed, and Cheng Rong became furious.

Lin Yuxing felt disappointed and sorrowful, which was evident on his face.

Since he lost his parents at a young age, even though he knew that Lin Xiufeng’s main priority was always Cheng Shaohua, he still regarded her as his “mother.”

He didn’t want to believe that Lin Xiufeng had betrayed him along with Cheng Rong.

But if it turned out to be true, how would he face Lin Xiufeng?

Lin Yuxing hesitated, carrying his uneasiness.

Gu Zhongyi said, “If you don’t want to meet her, we’ll return to C City tomorrow.”

Gu Zhongyi thought Lin Yuxing needed rest, and it would be better to return to C City as soon as possible. After all, the environment there was much more friendly to Lin Yuxing.

Upon hearing this, Lin Yuxing contemplated for a long time before saying, “Senior, I want to meet my aunt before we leave.”

Gu Zhongyi didn’t inquire further and simply said, “Okay, I’ll arrange it for tomorrow.” He didn’t want to see Lin Yuxing troubled. “You’ve had a long day, let’s rest early.”

Lin Yuxing nodded.

Gu Zhongyi stood up and approached, wanting to carry him.

Seeing this, Lin Yuxing took a few steps back, feeling pain in his feet.

Gu Zhongyi held him and said, “Be careful.”

“Th-thank you.” Lin Yuxing blushed as Gu Zhongyi held his arm. “No need to carry me, I can walk on my own.”

During their contractual relationship, Lin Yuxing never knew what shyness was. Now that they were truly in love, he felt shy and didn’t want Gu Zhongyi to carry him in public.

Gu Zhongyi looked at his swollen right foot, which could only fit into slippers, and crouched down in front of him, saying, “I’ll carry you.”

“But my foot only looks swollen; it’s not that painful.”

“Even if it’s not painful, I’ll still carry you. Come on.”

Gu Zhongyi remembered how when they were children at the welfare institution, Lin Yuxing always carried him and rushed to the dining hall. Now that they were grown up, it was time to switch.

Lin Yuxing’s palms were heating up as he secretly glanced around and noticed several hotel staff members paying attention to them. To avoid attracting more attention, he had no choice but to obediently comply.

He climbed onto Gu Zhongyi’s back, and the bright light in the lobby allowed him to clearly see the contours of Gu Zhongyi’s profile. It was as if a layer of light covered him, and every move Gu Zhongyi made attracted Lin Yuxing.

Once they entered the elevator, Lin Yuxing sincerely said, “Senior, you’re really handsome.”

Being praised by Lin Yuxing out of the blue, Gu Zhongyi’s mouth curved into a smile. He was quite eloquent, saying, “I’m not that handsome but thank you.”

Hearing this, joy filled Lin Yuxing’s heart and he pursed his lips and slowly after a moment of thought, he couldn’t help but ask cautiously, “Does that mean I’ve hit the jackpot?”

Gu Zhongyi couldn’t help but laugh at Lin Yuxing’s words.

Gu Zhongyi didn’t refute him and contentedly said, “Yes.”

In fact, Gu Zhongyi was the one who hit the jackpot.

Back in the room, Gu Zhongyi didn’t recommend that Lin Yuxing take a shower.

But Lin Yuxing felt that he had been through a day of anxiety and he insisted on taking a shower.

Gu Zhongyi was worried about his wound, saying, “If you feel uncomfortable, just use a towel to avoid the wound.”

However, Lin Yuxing had already taken off his jacket and said, “I smell.”

“You only smell like citrus; there’s no bad odor.”

Lin Yuxing sniffed himself and wrinkled his brow slightly. He still insisted, “I really smell.” Perhaps the disgusting pheromones from Ashan were still lingering in his subconscious.

Unable to persuade Lin Yuxing, Gu Zhongyi accompanied him into the bathroom, still worried.

Lin Yuxing pushed him, saying, “I’ll be fine, you don’t have to come in with me.”

But it wasn’t until the moment the hot water from the showerhead fell on him that Lin Yuxing belatedly realized one thing – they were going to sleep in the same bed that night.

Lin Yuxing’s mood suddenly became nervous, and he hesitated to come out of the bathroom.

Are there many couples who become deeply in love on their first day of dating? But how many couples sleep on the same bed on their first day? Lin Yuxing only had two friends he could ask: Su Li and Gu Nuan.

Su Li was with an online relationship boyfriend, so he wasn’t a reliable reference.

Should he ask Gu Nuan?

In Lin Yuxing’s impression, Gu Nuan was exceptionally good-looking and must have had no shortage of pursuers. Perhaps he was also experienced in matters of the heart?

Lin Yuxing reached into his pants pocket to take out his phone, intending to send a message to Gu Nuan, but he quickly stopped himself.

Gu Nuang was Gu Zhongyi’s relative. What if he accidentally spilled the beans to Gu Zhongyi…

Lin Yuxing thought it over and decided to seek help from random people online.

He randomly searched for a highly ranked emotional forum and anonymously posted: “[When you’re in a room with your partner, sharing a bed, what might happen?]”

He added a note: “[Both adults, university students.]”

The answers online were always extremely stimulating.

Answer 1: “[Make love, otherwise just chat under the covers?]”

Answer 2: “[Of course, things like being like wolves and doing whatever you want will happen.]”

Answer 3: “[ Just show affection!]”

Answer 4: “[The OP must be an omega, be careful not to get marked by a bite.]”

Answer 5: “[If nothing happens when sharing a bed, either there’s no emotional connection or there’s a sexual dysfunction.]”

Lin Yuxing was greatly shocked. He held his phone and wandered in the bathroom. Slowly, he tremblingly searched for some other things on his phone.

It would have been better if he hadn’t searched, because as soon as he did, he was startled.

In Lin Yuxing’s mind, there appeared some explicit images like a new continent.

He swallowed nervously.

Previously, Lin Yuxing trusted Gu Zhongyi because they had a contract. Now that he was officially Gu Zhongyi’s boyfriend, he didn’t know if he could still rely on that trust.

But Lin Yuxing immediately denied his own speculation.

Gu Zhongyi is not that kind of person!

However, that thought was quickly refuted by himself.  Gu Zhongyi had been kissing him incessantly earlier, as if he were that kind of person?!

Even if Lin Yuxing didn’t understand much, he was not a child anymore.

He faced the mirror, crossed his arms, and hugged his own shoulders tightly. “It’s over, could he really do whatever he wants to me?”
