Seventh Year Of Separation

Seventh Year Of Separation chapter 43

Unwrapping Gift

Li Zhao carried the cake box and placed it on the back seat. Gu Jiahe’s heart pounded as he sat in the passenger seat, unconsciously touching his lips, as if still feeling a trace of Li Zhao’s warmth.

After Li Zhao fastened his seatbelt, instead of starting the car, he turned to look at Gu Jiahe’s face.

His gaze moved from his eyes to his lips.

Gu Jiahe felt a little flustered under his gaze and licked his lips.

The next moment, Li Zhao unbuckled his seatbeat and leaned across and kissed him again, pressing down on Gu Jiahe’s shoulders with his fingers.

Gradually, Li Zhao shifted from leaning slightly to pressing his entire upper body against the passenger seat.

Gu Jiahe’s pupils contracted instantly, and he instinctively grasped Li Zhao’s hand. “Isn’t it a bit inappropriate in the car?”

The car was parked by the roadside, illuminated brightly by a street lamp ahead.

Li Zhao chuckled lightly, releasing his shoulders and starting the car. “Okay.”

Gu Jiahe hadn’t recovered yet when he saw the car speeding forward. “Where are we going?”

“My place.”

Li Zhao stepped on the gas pedal recklessly, and the gray car dashed forward on the wide elevated road. This time, Li Zhao only took ten minutes to complete a twenty-minute journey.

Backing into the garage, turning off the engine. Smooth and seamless operations, not a second wasted.

Li Zhao walked ahead, unlocking the code with his hand. After pushing open the door, he tossed the cake box onto the shoe cabinet and paid it no more attention.

There were no lights on in the house. Gu Jiahe stood nervously in the hallway, hands clenched at his sides.

Li Zhao used his leg to close the door, then pushed Gu Jiahe against it.

With his left hand, he unbuttoned his own suit jacket and tossed it onto the nearby sofa back.

“Undress yourself,” Li Zhao stared into Gu Jiahe’s eyes, his gaze intense, brooking no objection.

Gu Jiahe couldn’t help but shiver at the intensity. He hadn’t seen Li Zhao like this in a long time.

Gu Jiahe unzipped his jacket, letting the soft down jacket hang on his arm, before Li Zhao snatched it away and threw it aside.

Swish—there was only the light sound of clothes hitting the ground in the empty room.

“Keep going,” Li Zhao focused on the buttons of Gu Jiahe’s shirt.

“Here?” Gu Jiahe’s voice trembled. The two of them squeezed into the narrow hallway, and the dark living room felt very unsettling.

Li Zhao pondered for a moment, then bent down and lifted Gu Jiahe’s thighs, carrying him as they headed to the bedroom. Gu Jiahe suddenly lost his balance and had to wrap his arms around Li Zhao’s neck.

Click! Li Zhao switched on the bedside lamp with his elbow. The pitch-black room was now dimly lit.

Li Zhao’s bedroom had a cement gray tone, with a huge bed in the center. The sheets were silver-white, giving the whole space a cold atmosphere.

Li Zhao placed Gu Jiahe on the bed, making him the only warm color on it.

Li Zhao raised an eyebrow, his meaning clear. Keep going.

With his hands in his pockets, Li Zhao watched Gu Jiahe’s movements from above, as if admiring his freshly captured prey.

Gu Jiahe’s movements were hesitant; he hadn’t completed the task Li Zhao assigned when he saw the other climbing onto the bed, still fully dressed in his shirt and trousers.

The next moment, Li Zhao leaned down, sniffing Gu Jiahe’s neck. “Wearing perfume?”

“No,” Gu Jiahe denied hastily.

“Really? Why do you smell so good then?” Li Zhao’s voice made his ears itch.

“Maybe it’s the shower gel…”

“Ah, you specially took a shower before coming? Clever move, Manager Gu.”

For some reason, Li Zhao’s provocative words made Gu Jiahe’s back tingle.

The next moment, Gu Jiahe felt a pair of large hands, calloused palms, rubbing against his skin.

Li Zhao whispered, “Why are you still as resistant as before, not easily teased.”

Gu Jiahe trembled all over, shame and excitement intertwining, assaulting every nerve in his body.

“Why are you still wearing a shirt?” Gu Jiahe couldn’t help but grab his collar and ask, seeing that Li Zhao hadn’t even undone a single button.

“My gift isn’t fully unwrapped yet,” Li Zhao left a sentence without context.

Then he said, “Turn over, lie down.”

Gu Jiahe’s rationality tried to stop him, but in the next moment, his body was completely dominated. He followed Li Zhao’s instructions, rolling over and lying on the soft sheets.

“What are you going to do?” Gu Jiahe muffled his voice in the pillow.

“Didn’t you used to like this the most?” Li Zhao seemed intent on teasing him, lightly patting his butt with his hand.

Gu Jiahe thought, what nonsense. But his rationality only lasted for a moment.

The next moment, he was completely under Li Zhao’s control, his back straightened.

The clouds in the night sky were gently blown away by the wind, revealing a bit of tender and tempting moonlight.

“Behave.” Li Zhao’s tone was like coaxing a small animal.

The night tide surged, one wave after another. The sound of waves layered upon each other, following the moon’s guidance, swaying and rushing with gravity.

“Turn off the light.” Gu Jiahe regained a bit of rationality from the chaotic sensory experience, reaching out to tap the wall beside the bed. His fingertips trembled uncontrollably.

“No.” Li Zhao directly refused. “I want to watch you.”

A fierce blizzard swept in on the winter night, carried by a strong wind.

The strong wind swept over every inch of soft snow, extremely violent, one gust after another, one sound after another, leaving deep and shallow marks on the white snow.

In the distance, there seemed to be a grand winter celebration, countless fireworks rising into the sky, the tremendous impact staining the pristine snow with patches of pink.

The temperature inside the house was very high, and the skin on the back of Gu Jiahe’s neck began to heat up.

Li Zhao’s warm palm slid over the back of his neck, sweat dripping as body temperature rose. Like snow melting into rainwater, falling onto soft grass, coaxing out long-buried green shoots.

Until the ambiguous sounds had faded, leaving only the echoes of the wind in the night sky.

Li Zhao then unbuttoned his semi-damp shirt clinging to his body, crumpling it into a ball and tossing it to the ground. He lay on his side, his strong arm around Gu Jiahe’s waist, the other hand gently caressing Gu Jiahe’s neck.

Gu Jiahe felt like a gazelle torn apart by a wild wolf, giving up struggling, surrendering to absolute power, allowing the wild wolf to lick his blood.

“So delicate.” Li Zhao slowly regained his composure, but his tone was heavy.

“W…What?” Gu Jiahe’s voice was already broken.

“Your waist,” Li Zhao said, gently tightening his arm.

Seeing Gu Jiahe not continuing the conversation, Li Zhao seemed a bit dissatisfied. He lifted his hand and pinched Gu Jiahe’s chin.

“Turn around.”

Gu Jiahe felt sore all over, turning his head softly and asking, “What for?”

“Kiss me.” Li Zhao softened his tone, his eyes like a pool of spring water, trying to melt Gu Jiahe.

Using the last bit of strength, Gu Jiahe leaned his neck and kissed Li Zhao’s lips.

After the kiss ended, Li Zhao released him, tightly embracing his waist. He whispered in his ear, “Now, what are we?”

“Hmm?” Gu Jiahe’s mind was already muddled.

“What do you call me?”

“Zhao ge.”

Li Zhao didn’t respond after hearing that. Gu Jiahe vaguely sensed that this answer might not be what he wanted.

He continued calling, “Ge.”

Still no response from Li Zhao.

With a hoarse voice, Gu Jiahe continued calling out, “Ge…”

Li Zhao’s fingers deeply embedded into Gu Jiahe’s waist, he took a deep breath and buried his face in Gu Jiahe’s neck.

Then he responded softly, “my baby…”

Gu Jiahe was covered in sweat, unable to distinguish whose sweat was whose. He really wanted to get up and take a shower, but he was physically exhausted and couldn’t move at the moment.

In a daze, he felt Li Zhao lifting him from the bed, and when he woke up again, he was already in the bathroom.

The bathroom in Li Zhao’s house was very spacious, with the shower area separated, outside was the shower, and inside was a glass partition, which housed an embedded bathtub.

Li Zhao turned on the bathtub faucet, filling it with hot water, and then gently carried him in.

The hot water enveloped him, and Gu Jiahe felt some strength returning to his body, although his consciousness was still hazy.

He leaned against the edge of the bathtub, his hand holding onto the white painted edge, his head tilted.

Li Zhao helped him turn on the warm air, sitting beside him, watching Gu Jiahe squinting his eyes, lying in the bathtub, the hot air blowing through his hair.

“Close your eyes,” Li Zhao suddenly spoke.

Gu Jiahe became nervous again for a moment, raising his head to ask, “Why?”

“To wash your hair.” Li Zhao shook his head helplessly.

Gu Jiahe breathed a sigh of relief.

Li Zhao took down the shower head and helped him rinse his sweaty hair, gently applying foam and massaging his scalp with his fingertips.

Gu Jiahe hummed comfortably.

Li Zhao used the shower head again to rinse off the foam from his hair. The next moment, Gu Jiahe felt Li Zhao using his palm to wipe away the water droplets from his eyelids.

“Ge.” Gu Jiahe suddenly opened his eyes slightly and called out to him.

“Yeah?”

“That mixed martial arts of yours, boxing, maybe you shouldn’t practice it anymore…” Gu Jiahe’s voice grew quieter as he spoke.

Li Zhao pulled the corner of his mouth, smiled, then grabbed a clean large towel from the nearby shelf, intending to lift him out of the bathtub and dry him off.

But in just a turn, when he squatted down and began to dry Gu Jiahe’s hair, he found out that this guy had fallen asleep just like that.

Li Zhao couldn’t help but think to himself: How come his sleep quality is so good now?
