I Only Want You chapter 39
Sub CP 1
Yan Lan never interfered in Yang Xiaole’s affairs, including the fact that he would crossdress during holidays to have some fun.
Yan Lan wasn’t exactly sure when it started, but he found out during the summer vacation of their freshman year. Yang Xiaole opened the suitcase that had been sitting in the corner of their dorm since he moved in. With a small key, he unlocked the padlock and then the combination lock. Inside the suitcase, there were numerous dresses.
Nonchalantly, he dressed up in front of Yan Lan, trying on dresses, applying makeup, and wearing a wig skillfully. He even used padded inserts to enhance his chest. In a short amount of time, he transformed into a beautiful girl before Yan Lan’s eyes.
Throughout the makeup process, Yang Xiaole remained silent. Only after finishing did he turn around, sweetly smiling at Yan Lan, asking, “Momo, do I look good?”
Yan Lan took out a notebook and wrote: “You look good, you’re very beautiful.”
Yang Xiaole had already anticipated this response, showing no surprise. It was because of this anticipation that he was willing to let Yan Lan know his secret.
Since then, every winter and summer vacation, Yan Lan occasionally saw him crossdressing. He would then tell Yan Lan that he was now Lili or Nana and would slip out of the silent dormitory building during the holiday.
Yan Lan knew that he had had relationships while crossdressing because sometimes after going out on a date, Yang Xiaole would complain to him about his “boyfriend” wanting to kiss him. Luckily, he cleverly found excuses to avoid it.
Whenever he complained, he wouldn’t crossdress for the next few days, and the so-called “boyfriend” would break up.
Regarding this matter, Yan Lan cared for him but also respected his privacy. He didn’t know why Yang Xiaole liked crossdressing, nor did he understand why he would go out dressed as a girl, date someone, and then break up with them. Yang Xiaole had always been carefree and indifferent, doing things based on his preferences without much consideration for others.
He didn’t speak, and Yan Lan didn’t ask. However, it seemed different for Bian Xianyang. He could make Yang Xiaole break his rule of crossdressing during non-holidays and allowed him to kiss him. These two points alone indicated that Yang Xiaole also had feelings for him.
Yan Lan couldn’t help but feel worried, but Yang Xiaole was indifferent. On their way back to the dormitory, he took out a black raincoat from the bushes, covered himself, and followed Yan Lan upstairs.
As soon as they entered the room, he couldn’t wait to take it off. “That raincoat is suffocating.”
Yan Lan closed the door and looked at the suitcase spread open on the floor. He couldn’t help sighing deeply, feeling completely puzzled. Rarely, he took the initiative to ask about Yang Xiaole’s private matters: “What’s going on between you and him?”
“It’s simple, not as complicated as you think. We just added each other on WeChat and chatted a bit.”
Yan Lan hesitated, then turned around to write: “After chatting a bit, you revealed that you are an art student, and then you kissed him outside the school gate.”
Sitting on a chair, Yang Xiaole coquettishly said, “Well, he said he liked me! How could I resist? It’s Bian Xianyang; I don’t want to reject him.”
Yan Lan: “You said it yourself; dating is not just about kissing.”
“I know~ Momo, why are you so naive? Do you think he will always like Nana? There’s no such good thing. Likes are temporary; given his exciting life, he will eventually find Nana boring.” Yang Xiaole continued to remove his makeup while speaking, “I don’t have any unrealistic fantasies. I do have a good impression of him. He unexpectedly has a masculine charm despite being younger. If he likes Nana, I’ll let him see Nana, and if he wants to kiss, I’ll let him kiss. Consider it repaying him for helping me at the hotel that time.”
Yan Lan heard this and put down the paper and pen.
Yang Xiaole noticed his puzzled expression, turned to look at him through the mirror, and said, “Thank you, Momo. I know you’re worried about me.”
Yan Lan nodded and turned to wash his hands in the bathroom, helping him tidy up the scattered items.
After removing his makeup, Yang Xiaole received a WeChat message from Bian Xianyang.
[Baby, I’m home.]Yang Xiaole blushed, somewhat surprised that he changed the nickname so quickly. However, he casually put away his phone, continued to remove his makeup, and after a while, looked at it again. Bian Xianyang had sent two more messages.
[Busy?] [Baby, why are you ignoring me?]Yang Xiaole couldn’t help replying.
“Just finished removing my makeup~”
“That’s good. I was afraid you regretted it.”
“Why would you think I regret it?”
“I thought it might be too fast; after all, this is only our fourth meeting.”
“I won’t regret it.”
“Did you understand what I said just now?”
“You’re asking now after the kiss?”
“Haha~ I didn’t want you to think I wasn’t serious.”
“Relax, I know you fell in love with me at first sight. I’m not going to reject you, though.”
“Just not rejecting me?”
“Young man, don’t take advantage.”
“Baby, you’re only a few years older than me.”
Yang Xiaole realized he was somewhat overwhelmed by being called “baby” by someone younger. His heart felt like a hundred rabbits were having a party.
This feeling was different from any of his previous “boyfriends.” This sweet and cloying nickname would have been something he despised before, but when it came from Bian Xianyang, he didn’t dislike it. On the contrary, he found it quite sweet, and his mood was even better than he had imagined.
Indeed, one should date high-quality individuals; it’s good for physical and mental health. Knowing it’s not serious also brings joy.
At the end of the month, on a Saturday, the day of the concert, Yang Xiaole left at noon with a large backpack, found a hotel, and booked an hourly room to do his makeup and change into a dress.
During this time, Bian Xianyang sent him many WeChat messages, asking if he had left, where he was, seeming quite eager to see him.
Yang Xiaole didn’t like being rushed during makeup. He turned off his phone’s sound, ignored the messages, and leisurely put on colored contact lenses, applied eye shadow, and prepared himself before hailing a taxi and heading out.
Bian Xianyang had given him a VIP ticket, and after passing through the security check, he silently sat in the best viewing position. Surrounding him were girls of similar ages, each holding a valuable camera. Yang Xiaole felt like they were all experienced concert-goers.
Not long after entering the venue, the concert started. Yang Xiaole’s eyes shone like two lamps as he stared intensely at the people on stage. He waved the glow stick to cheer for Bian Xianyang and unintentionally made eye contact with him.
After the concert ended, he went to the Casey Bin Hotel according to the address Bian Xianyang had sent. It was said that their company was hosting a celebration banquet at the Casey Bin Hotel that night.
As Yang Xiaole arrived at the hotel lobby in a taxi, the fans who had rushed there after hearing about the group formation were shocked. He skillfully navigated through the crowd, about to head towards the hotel’s back entrance when his phone suddenly rang, displaying ” Bian Xianyang.”
Yang Xiaole hesitated for a moment, then answered the call with Nana’s voice, “Hello?”
“Where are you?”
“I’m downstairs at the hotel, just arrived.”
“Okay, come in through the main entrance. I’ll have my assistant come down to give you the room key card.”
Yang Xiaole thought he had misheard, “What?”
“My assistant will give you the room key card. He’s a guy with black-framed glasses, wearing a checkered shirt.”
Standing by the flower bed, Yang Xiaole, unable to move, asked in confusion, “Can our affair be known by people from your company?”
“My assistant is my cousin; he can know. Hurry up and come, I’m waiting for you.”
Feeling somewhat uneasy, Yang Xiaole put away his phone, stood there hesitating for a moment, and finally walked towards the hotel’s main entrance. He wondered if he could enter so smoothly. The next moment, the hotel security stopped him.
“Hold on…”
Yang Xiaole’s mind raced to think of a way to respond when suddenly a figure rushed out of the hotel lobby.
“Nana!”
Yang Xiaole and the two security guards looked towards the person.
A young man with black-framed glasses showed his work ID and smoothly led Yang Xiaole into the hotel.
Yang Xiaole, full of surprise, followed him into the elevator, couldn’t help but ask, “How did you know I’m Nana?”
The assistant pressed the floor button, “Xianyang showed me your photos.”
Yang Xiaole realized that Bian Xianyang had added his WeChat alias, which was specifically used for crossdressing, and there were indeed some selfies in his Moments.
Guiding him to the thirteenth floor, the assistant handed him a room card, “The room at the end of the left corridor.”
Taking the room card, Yang Xiaole’s mind was filled with thoughts of being too audacious. Wasn’t he afraid of being discovered?!
As he walked through the hotel corridor, he couldn’t help but pay attention to the surveillance cameras. Could Bian Xianyang be so daring? Wasn’t he afraid of being caught on camera?
Fearful, Yang Xiaole reached the end of the corridor, used the card to unlock the door, and was startled as he pushed it open.
Bian Xianyang was standing in the room, turned around, and as soon as he saw Yang Xiaole, he walked towards him, saying, “You’re so slow, baby.”
Yang Xiaole forcefully closed the door behind him, pointed at Bian Xianyang, and stammered, “Stand, stand, stand there! Don’t come over!”
Obeying, Bian Xianyang stopped and looked at him with confusion, “What’s wrong?”
“Have you lost your mind? What if we’re discovered?”
“What if we’re discovered?”
“Doesn’t your company care about you dating? Aren’t we supposed to keep it a secret?”
“Why should I have a secret relationship with you? I’m dating you with the intention of getting married.”
“Huh?”
Bian Xianyang, puzzled by his reaction, said, “Didn’t I tell you?”
Yang Xiaole looked at him in utter bewilderment, “Tell me what?”
“I said I fell in love with you at first sight, and I want to be with you.”
“What does that have to do with marriage?!”
“Don’t you want to?”
Yang Xiaole realized he couldn’t keep up with his thoughts, “Wait, let’s start from the beginning. This is our fifth meeting.”
Bian Xianyang nodded, “Yeah.”
“You confessed on our fourth meeting, and on our fifth meeting, you say we’re dating with the intention of getting married?”
“Yeah.”
“You…” Yang Xiaole found him utterly unreasonable, “Why do you want to marry me?”
“Because I like you. I liked you from our first meeting.”
