Evil Love Appears

Evil Love Appears chapter 62

After seeing off Wang Xiaoshan, Fu Xiaoyu returned to find Xu Jiale, who had just finished washing the dishes. “Wang Xiaoshan left?” he asked.

“Yep,” Fu Xiaoyu floated along as he walked back. When he saw Xu Jiale, there was a playful look in his eyes, and his body naturally leaned in closer to him.

“Did you drink too much?” Xu Jiale asked.

“I’m not drunk,” Fu Xiaoyu quickly denied. He wanted to spend more time with Xu Jiale.

“I just prepared a bath for you.” Xu Jiale carefully held Fu Xiaoyu’s waist and then lifted him up. “How about soaking for a while?”

“Okay,” Fu Xiaoyu’s gaze was still following Xu Jiale.

After placing Fu Xiaoyu in the bathtub, Xu Jiale headed to the living room and returned with a large whiteboard, a piece of paper, and a pen.

Wait, a whiteboard?

Fu Xiaoyu actually wanted to take a bath, but at this moment, after undressing and getting into the perfectly warm bathtub while still a little tipsy, he felt so relaxed that his mind was somewhat sluggish. Even though he faintly felt something was off, he sat on the edge of the bathtub, silly and content, and asked, “Xu Jiale, would you like to join me in the bath?”

Xu Jiale sat on the edge of the bathtub, making a great effort to avoid looking down into the water. He turned his face away and tapped Fu Xiaoyu’s head with the whiteboard. “Fu Xiaoyu, take a good look at this board. Who wrote it?”

“I did.”

“So, are the words ‘great sex,’ ‘handsome,’ and ‘gentle’ written on it referring to me?”

“Yes.”

With each word Xu Jiale said, Fu Xiaoyu’s face reddened a little more.

“When Wang Xiaoshan was interrogating me earlier, you pretended not to know anything. Fu Xiaoyu, I think something’s wrong with your thinking today.”

Xu Jiale hummed, then directly hung the whiteboard on a coat hook across from the bathtub and said, “Reflect on your behavior in front of this board.”

Fu Xiaoyu splashed in the bathtub and sat up. Xu Jiale thought that Fu Xiaoyu was going to sit down and reflect, but he hadn’t expected the omega to use his fingers to grip the edge, eagerly asking, “Xu Jiale, I’ve reflected, so… would you like to join me?”

Xu Jiale remained silent.

Fu Xiaoyu sat up suddenly. His two small, beautifully colored nipples on his chest, still glistening with drops of water, emerged from the surface, reflecting the dim light in a tantalizing way.

Xu Jiale’s throat went dry, and he had to slightly turn his head to avoid looking directly.

“You’ve quite the imagination,” Xu Jiale coughed as if concealing something, then placed a plastic board table beside the bathtub on a small iron frame spanning the tub to create a makeshift tabletop. He put paper and a pen on it. “Fu Xiaoyu, we agreed, tonight you write my name 300 times. Otherwise, I won’t let you eat. You borrowed your last meal; you’re not thinking of pre-paying for the ‘Sex Master’s Love Bath,’ are you?”

“I…” Fu Xiaoyu’s face turned red, and although he had been feeling somewhat embarrassed, when he heard the phrase “Sex Master’s Love Bath,” his eyes sparkled again.

In his intoxicated state, he had become somewhat desensitized to Xu Jiale’s tired catchphrase, and he didn’t feel too embarrassed. In fact, he was looking forward to it.

“Xu Jiale, I’ll write,” he said softly, bearing the humiliation.

After Fu Xiaoyu started writing, Xu Jiale left the bathroom. On one hand, he couldn’t bear to watch Fu Xiaoyu, who was lying naked in his tub, and on the other hand, he was thinking about the red sugar ice powder he had specially prepared during dinner.

After dealing with some paperwork following their dinner with Wang Xiaoshan, Xu Jiale had forgotten to serve the dessert to Wang Xiaoshan. He thought it was a bit of a pity.

On his way to the kitchen, Xu Jiale saw Xia’an squatting in the litter box with her backside up, meowing at him.

After spending so much time with Xia’an, Xu Jiale could even understand the embarrassment on her face.

“Come here, baby, let me take a look.”

Xu Jiale squatted down, held his breath, and then picked up the cat.

Sure enough, he saw a small piece of yellowish-green substance on the cat’s butt. It was likely due to an upset stomach and slight diarrhea. This was relatively common for a Ragdoll cat with a sensitive stomach, but Xu Jiale couldn’t help but feel sorry for Xia’an as he gently petted her head.

He couldn’t ignore this sudden poop-on-fur situation. Xu Jiale skillfully used cat wipes to clean the fur around Xia’an’s butt and then washed it in the bathroom on the balcony.

Throughout the process, Xia’an was obedient, using her paws to grip Xu Jiale’s arm while burying her face, as if she was aware of the embarrassment.

“All done. I’ll trim your butt fur tomorrow.”

After completing the task, Xu Jiale placed Xia’an back on the floor. She didn’t seem too uncomfortable; she quickly became joyful and started following Xu Jiale’s steps again.

Feeling reassured about Xia’an, Xu Jiale headed to the kitchen to wash his hands. Then, he opened the fridge and took out the prepared red sugar ice powder.

Knowing Fu Xiaoyu’s strict eating habits, he had been conservative with the amount of red sugar used. However, he compensated for the reduced sweetness by adding more hawthorn slices and dried cranberries for a tangy flavor. The ice powder was still cold, even more so, and perfect for sobering up.

With the bowl in hand, Xu Jiale returned to the bathroom. But when he pushed the door open, he found Fu Xiaoyu sleeping with his head leaning to the side.

Xu Jiale placed the bowl on the side gently, then, looking down at the plastic table beside the bathtub, a faint smile appeared on his face.

He bent down to pick up the paper, and he noticed that Fu Xiaoyu had carefully folded an A4 sheet into eight columns. This made it easier to write neatly and count properly.

Fu Xiaoyu’s handwriting was not typically neat, and the influence of alcohol made it even more slanted and blurry in places where the paper had been splashed with water. Xu Jiale could almost imagine Fu Xiaoyu’s silly expression, nodding as he wrote while being half-drunk.

Fu Xiaoyu had actually written almost half the A4 paper, and Xu Jiale estimated that it was close to a hundred times.

Xu Jiale couldn’t help but be amused. He never actually intended for Fu Xiaoyu to write 300 times. He had just gone to fetch the red sugar ice powder. He didn’t expect the short delay caused by taking care of the cat’s dirty butt to lead to Fu Xiaoyu diligently writing a hundred times while half-asleep.

Xu Jiale gently placed the bowl aside, then leaned over the bathtub to kiss Fu Xiaoyu on the lips.

The kiss was light, lingering, and gradually grew hotter. At first, it felt like a gentle dream, and it gradually turned passionate.

Fu Xiaoyu was half-asleep from the kiss and turned his head. He lifted his eyelids and murmured, “Xu Jiale, I’ve written quite a bit. I haven’t counted, but there are probably more than 90. I’ll continue tomorrow.”

“Okay,” Xu Jiale suddenly got a bit flustered, straightening up and regaining his composure. He whispered, “Xiaoyu, if you’re tired, we can skip the bath for now. I’ll hold you while you rest.”

Fu Xiaoyu, probably drowsy from the combination of alcohol and tiredness, mumbled something unintelligible as he was being carried, wrapped in a towel, back to the bedroom. He kept muttering along the way, with his chatty side re-emerging in his drunken state.

Xu Jiale couldn’t make out his words clearly. It wasn’t until Fu Xiaoyu was placed on the bed and was almost asleep that he heard the last half-sentence: “Wang Xiaoshan, why do you keep falling in love? Don’t… don’t let it affect your work. Have you finished the OKR for the second quarter this year?”

Xu Jiale couldn’t believe that even while drunk, Fu Xiaoyu was still this business-minded. He couldn’t help but think about recording this and playing it back to Wang Xiaoshan. He chuckled at the idea.

Sitting on the edge of the bed, Xu Jiale watched Fu Xiaoyu as he muttered and gradually fell into deep sleep. He held Fu Xiaoyu’s hand in his own, and his fingers gently caressed the back of Fu Xiaoyu’s hand. The touch between their skins was a blend of restraint and desire, manifesting a kind of unrestrained and forceful desire.

“No… Fu Xiaoyu is not in heat yet,” Xu Jiale breathed a sigh of relief. In his previous marriage, he had grown accustomed to not demanding anything from Jin Chu when he wasn’t in heat.

He understood it, of course. Omega’s physiological characteristics meant that their desires were like tides, existing for the purpose of reproduction. During heat, it surged like the sea, but in normal times, it was calm and difficult to arouse, and they didn’t need their Alpha’s presence so intensely. Sometimes, it could even be painful due to resistance.

Xu Jiale painfully learned these lessons from their previous relationship and, as a result, learned to control his desires like a faucet, releasing and containing them at specific times to build his own armor.

After Fu Xiaoyu’s heat ended, he followed a certain pattern of behavior, avoiding overly intimate actions, just as he was used to doing.

But in front of Fu Xiaoyu, it seemed like he was wearing his armor for the first time and it had started to leak.

Fu Xiaoyu’s waist recovered faster than he had imagined. This was not only thanks to his regular exercise but also the nutritious meals prepared by Xu Jiale.

After a couple of days, he couldn’t stay idle anymore and started going to work at the Gemini Towers as usual.

However, even though work had returned to normal, Xu Jiale and Fu Xiaoyu never mentioned that he should move back to Junya. They continued to live together with an unspoken agreement.

Their love app was back on track, and the entire team was rapidly expanding. At this stage, Xu Jiale’s responsibilities had eased, and he didn’t have to spend much time in the Gemini Towers’ office. He simply continued to pick up Fu Xiaoyu every day. Since Wang Xiaoshan was handling things on the company’s side, Xu Jiale only needed to pay a little attention to avoid the guys like Hu Xia.

Gradually, he shifted his focus back to his academic research. He had a lot of data from his fieldwork in Vietnam, which he had been organizing.

Those days happened to coincide with the Easter holidays in the United States, and Xu Nanyi had signed up for a school-organized Boy Scouts camp, so he didn’t call every day.

On the second Friday, the love app had a small team-building event in the morning, and then they were given half a day off in the afternoon.

Xu Jiale and Fu Xiaoyu went to H City to visit Wen Ke.

Han Jiangque still hadn’t woken up, but the omega in the later stages of pregnancy seemed to be getting better. His face had lost many of the dark spots.

They sat by Han Jiangque’s bedside, gently holding his hand with one hand while chatting aimlessly. “The expected due date is almost set, and these two should be Cancer babies.”

“Cancer babies, that’s nice.”

When Xu Jiale and Wen Ke chatted, Fu Xiaoyu glanced at Wen Ke curiously.

With a tall, bulging belly, spring clothes accentuated the swollen figure of the pregnant omega.

Pregnant omegas could indeed be quite awkward.

Fu Xiaoyu was a bit worried and asked softly, “Wen Ke, how’s your health recently? You mentioned leg cramps a while back?”

“Everything’s normal, it’s better these days.” Wen Ke said while eating the longan Xu Jiale had peeled for him,, “Don’t worry. But you, your back isn’t completely healed, you need to rest more, don’t just focus on work. The love app has hired quite a few people recently, so you should take it easy.”

“Yes, even…” Fu Xiaoyu paused, a bit worried, “Even if Han Jiangque doesn’t wake up by then, both Xu Jiale and I will come to accompany you.”

“Okay,” Wen Ke smiled.

Wen Ke had long eyelashes, a somewhat slender nose, and a tall neck. In the past, Han Jiangque used to say Wen Ke looked like a giraffe, but at that time, Fu Xiaoyu didn’t think so. However, the pregnant omega had an increasingly quiet and graceful beauty, like a deer.

Wen Ke glanced at them and said, “You two seem to be getting along well recently, right?”

When Wen Ke said this, Xu Jiale had just given a piece of longan meat to Fu Xiaoyu. The entire hospital room fell silent for a moment.

Xu Jiale remained calm and said, “You weren’t here, and Han Jiangque was lying there, so we had to support each other.”

“Yeah,” Fu Xiaoyu quickly added, while eating the longan with his head down, secretly heaved a sigh of relief.

When they left the hospital, Fu Xiaoyu couldn’t help but ask, “Xu Jiale, do you think… Wen Ke noticed?”

“I don’t think so,” Xu Jiale said while driving, “Don’t forget, even though he’s talking to us, his attention is still on Han Jiangque. He glances at Han Jiangque from time to time.”

“Yeah…” Fu Xiaoyu felt somewhat relieved, but then he felt a bit depressed.

Thinking about some things made him even more uncomfortable. The longer Han Jiangque lay there, the fewer people there would be to comfort Wen Ke. Except for the person who loved Han Jiangque most in the world, everyone else had to continue with their lives.

“Should we go home? relax a bit? Maybe watch a movie later.”

Xu Jiale seemed to sense Fu Xiaoyu’s disappointment and asked softly.

“I’m a bit tired; I want to rest for a while first. We can watch a movie when it gets dark.”

Fu Xiaoyu thought for a moment and said, “Oh, by the way, I left some of the documents I needed to review over the weekend at the team-building event this morning, so let’s stop by the office.”

“Sure,” Xu Jiale said.

Because they were just going to pick up some documents, they didn’t drive the car into the underground parking lot but instead found a temporary parking spot near the entrance.

Fu Xiaoyu picked up the documents, walked out of the lobby, and then opened the door of the Tesla and got in.

Once the Tesla started, a taxi that had originally been parked behind them followed.

“Sister, I’ve told you before; that alpha who came to deliver the cat last time in this car is definitely up to something! Driver, please help me follow the car in front.”

Sitting in the back seat of the taxi, Fu Jing’s face turned pale. He stared ahead while talking on the phone, “I’m not causing trouble, I really am not causing trouble! Sister! It’s just that Fu Xiaoyu, that little rabbit, didn’t even tell me he had a boyfriend. He made it awkward for you, the matchmaker. I just want to see what’s going on!”
