Evil Love Appears

Evil Love Appears chapter 29

“Sweetheart, can you do daddy a favor and go upstairs to check if the kitty has gone up there?”

With just a single sentence, Xu Jiale led little Nanyi upstairs, then hurriedly returned to the living room where Fu Xiaoyu was hiding on the sofa.

Time was limited, and there was no time for further words. Xu Jiale bent down, swiftly scooped up the bedding, including Fu Xiaoyu inside, and stealthily darted into the master bedroom, locking the door behind.

Fu Xiaoyu blushed as he finally emerged from the covers, still holding their underwear tightly in his hands. Perhaps the earlier situation had left him too flustered; even now, he didn’t know what to do.

Xu Jiale snatched the underwear and tossed it into the laundry basket in the corner. He continued to search through the closet without showing any change in his expression and said, “I’ll find you some new clothes. I need to change as well; it’s getting uncomfortable.”

Fu Xiaoyu remained silent, initially unclear about what Xu Jiale was saying. But in the next moment, his face reddened rapidly. He had witnessed Xu Jiale, standing right in front of him, confidently removing the shorts he had, revealing his legs.

Given that he was experiencing morning arousal without underwear, it was indeed going to be uncomfortable.

This was the first time Fu Xiaoyu had seen such a clear view of… him. His toes twitched suddenly.

Xu Jiale’s speed in changing clothes was astonishing. In just over ten seconds, he was fully dressed in a set of pants and t shirt. At that moment, a child’s voice came from outside the door, “Daddy, where are you? Kitty’s not on the second floor!”

“I’ll be there in a moment,” Xu Jiale replied hastily.

Perhaps finding Fu Xiaoyu too slow to change, he walked over abruptly. Fu Xiaoyu was only halfway through putting on his underwear when Xu Jiale leaned down, deftly fastening each button on Fu Xiaoyu’s shirt. He had complex scents—a mix of cool mint and the scent of sandalwood, with a faint underlying muskiness, the reminder of their passionate encounter from the previous night.

“Xu Jiale…” Fu Xiaoyu’s body trembled slightly as he caught a whiff of the scents, but he quickly feigned nonchalance. “If Nanyi is around, I…”

He felt somewhat constrained.

In principle, he should avoid such situations.

“It’s alright…” Xu Jiale hesitated for a moment, and when he said the word ‘alright,’ a trace of fatigue showed in his expression. But he quickly rubbed his brow, concealing the weariness, and continued, “I just messaged Amon; he’s getting ready to come and pick up Nanyi. It’ll take at most forty minutes, Are you ready?”

He looked at Fu Xiaoyu, not waiting for a response. Then he calmly lowered his head and said, “Just bear with it for a while, and let me have breakfast with Nanyi first, okay?”

“Okay…” Fu Xiaoyu replied.

The fact that Xu Jiale was asking him if it was “alright” to have breakfast with Nanyi was astonishing. At that moment, Fu Xiaoyu’s heart was pounding rapidly. He had been a manager for so long and had to master the skill of prioritization, deciding the order in which to handle complex and time-sensitive matters. Xu Jiale had placed “taking care of him in heat” as the top priority, at least for this moment.

Before leaving the bedroom, Xu Jiale expertly pulled Xia’an out from under the bed and hugged the orange cat in his arms. Xia’an let out a soft “meow” but didn’t struggle.

“Kitty!” Nanyi, waiting at the door, rushed over, full of excitement.

“Be gentle, don’t scare it,” Xu Jiale cautioned with a smile, bending down while holding Xia’an, so that Nanyi could gently stroke the cat’s head. He whispered, “Darling, Daddy has something to do right now. We’ll have Uncle Amon look after you and play with Ruo for a couple of days. Daddy will come to pick you up as soon as he’s done, alright?”

“Alright,” Nanyi agreed, petting Xia’an.

“What do you want for breakfast?”

“McDonald’s!” Nanyi exclaimed cheerfully.

McDonald’s, the everlasting symbol of children’s happiness. Fortunately, there was one just across the street, and it would take less than ten minutes for the delivery to arrive.

Nanyi ordered McWings, French fries, and a large Coke. Xu Jiale ordered a beef burger, while Fu Xiaoyu hesitated for a moment before finally ordering a coffee—of course, he would never eat McDonald’s.

Nanyi seemed like the type of child who was always happy. As soon as the McDonald’s arrived, he sat down at the table, screaming in excitement and tearing apart the packaging.

Fu Xiaoyu sat across from Nanyi, planning to have a couple sips of coffee to wake up. However, Xu Jiale sneakily took his coffee and replaced it with his own orange juice, saying, “Don’t drink coffee on an empty stomach.”

Nanyi overheard and suddenly looked up, asking, “Brother, aren’t you having anything?”

“I’m not…” Fu Xiaoyu hesitated for a moment, not knowing how to communicate with a young child. He felt awkward saying those two words.

But Nanyi didn’t mind and said with a smile, “I know, Brother, you’re on a diet like Aiden!”

While he was talking, he pulled a piece of fried chicken from the box, stripped the crispy coating from the meat, and said in a childish voice, “Brother, I’ll feed you the inside part. This won’t make you gain weight. Aiden eats it too.”

Fu Xiaoyu was left stunned; he never expected that a 6-year-old child would pamper him like this.

“Who taught him this?” he wondered.

Even though he had no desire to eat McDonald’s, he couldn’t resist the pleading look in the child’s bright, shining eyes.

This is too oily, he thought as he took a small bite, feeling uncomfortable.

But he couldn’t bear to disappoint such an adorable child.

After watching for a while, Xu Jiale quietly took the chicken from Fu Xiaoyu and quickly devoured it. Then he said, “Brother doesn’t like McDonald’s, Daddy does.”

“Daddy, you’re bad,” Nanyi pouted, seemingly unhappy. “You should give it to brother.”

“Dad was wrong…” Xu Jiale sighed and smiled helplessly, bowing his head in apology, “Dad knows you’re a good little kid, and brother knows too.”

He clearly understood Xu Nanyi’s thoughts. After adding the sentence “brother knows too,” the little guy immediately became happy. A faint smile appeared on Fu Xiaoyu’s face. He had never anticipated that the scene of sitting with Xu Jiale and Xu Nanyi would be free of the awkwardness and discomfort he had imagined.

As the orange juice flowed into his stomach, it seemed to soothe his internal organs. He relaxed in a way he had never experienced before, even unable to help but focus on the interaction between the father and son beside him.

Xu Nanyi took a big sip from his large cola cup with enthusiasm and said, “Dad, remember when I told you last time that a very beautiful kid transferred to our class? Do you remember?”

“I remember…”

Xu Jiale picked up a napkin and patiently wiped the oily corner of little Nanyi’s mouth.

“I wrote him a letter, but I feel like it’s not very good. Dad, do you think writing ‘Francis, I want to kiss you’ is too direct?”

Fu Xiaoyu listened in astonishment; this level of puppy love was completely beyond his realm of understanding.

He couldn’t help but turn to look at Xu Jiale beside him.

But Xu Jiale was very composed, even teasing with a remark, “A change of heart, huh? Last month it was Brad, and this month it’s Francis. Who does my darling really like?”

“I like them both!” Xu Nanyi said matter-of-factly. “Brad is a teddy bear cookie, and Francis is a rose!”

Fu Xiaoyu couldn’t help but be both surprised and amused, and a faint smile appeared on his face.

It turns out that children’s descriptions of their crushes are so adorable.

“Well…” Xu Jiale didn’t disregard the emotional matters of the 6-year-old. He nodded solemnly as he sipped his coffee and discussed, “But ‘I want to kiss you’ might be a bit ordinary.”

“That’s true,” Xu Nanyi mused while eating fries, then suddenly jumped up. “Dad! I know! I want to write, ‘Francis, you are my rose!'”

“That’s a great line,” Xu Jiale applauded and gave Nanyi a thumbs up. “That line is really wonderful.”

“Daddy, I love you.” Xu Nanyi rushed over and gave Xu Jiale a big oily kiss on the cheek.

“Darling, I love you too,” Xu Jiale said earnestly.

“Brother!” Surprisingly, Xu Nanyi hadn’t forgotten Fu Xiaoyu, and he gave him a hug. “You are also more beautiful than a rose!”

Perhaps because Francis wasn’t around, his praise for Fu Xiaoyu was generous.

“Th-thank you,” Fu Xiaoyu was simply overwhelmed and stammered.

There was actually such a sweet and adorable little guy in the world.

At that moment, Fu Xiaoyu’s nose suddenly felt a bit sour.

In his family, neither Fu Jing nor Tang Ning would easily say the word “love,” and he had inherited this shy and unlikable personality as a result.

He had never even openly said “I love you” to anyone.

But when he watched Xu Jiale and Xu Nanyi chatting, as they discussed Nanyi’s love letters to the kindergarten kids, he suddenly realized that the reason for this child’s honey-sweet personality today was because from childhood to adulthood, he must have received so many “Dad loves you,” and his environment was filled with warm and nurturing love.

Only children who have received the phrase “Dad loves you” can understand how wonderful it is to be unreserved in expressing oneself.

Xu Jiale was such a perfect father.

This thought made Fu Xiaoyu’s entire body almost heat up.

He really didn’t understand, but in that moment, he felt desire like never before, and it wasn’t even a palpitation from the reproductive organs, but from within his heart.

Was this the instinct of an omega? An instinct to compete for the most perfect caregiver? Even though he had never liked kids.

But this was the first time he truly felt jealous of Jin Chu, jealousy, such an ugly emotion, yet it couldn’t be extinguished.

He turned to look at Xu Jiale, and the scent on him was so strong that even Xu Jiale turned his head slightly, looking at him with some surprise.

Fu Xiaoyu felt an immense sense of shame, to the point that his nails were deeply embedded in his palms.

He was failing in front of such an adorable child.

It was truly shameful, feeling like his body had become as wet as a lake—

Xu Jiale—

He shamefully gazed at Xu Jiale with his eyes.

He thought to himself: Xu Jiale, I want you.
