Evil Love Appears chapter 25
Fu Xiaoyu trembled in Xu Jiale’s arms for a long, long time.
He couldn’t utter a word, just trembling, a long and endless shivering.
“It’s okay,” Xu Jiale held him tightly, caressing the glands on the back of his neck that were gradually subsiding, and whispered, “it;s over, it’s over.”
He didn’t say anything, but Xu Jiale seemed to understand.
Fu Xiaoyu had always thought of himself as brave—
It was his decision to call Xu Jiale, he said he had “thought it over,” and he wanted Xu Jiale to take him to see the unseen scenery.
But he realized that he could still feel fear in moments like this.
He had been chasing Han Jiangque for so many years, and while Fu Jing had supported him, he would occasionally call to ask if he had slept with Han Jiangque.
That was, of course, a confirmation to ensure he hadn’t given his body away casually before getting a promise of marriage.
He looked strong and independent, but the strictness of his childhood had always haunted him. He had never truly escaped Fu Jing’s control until tonight—
After tonight, everything would be different.
Since he chose to pursue his desires, he was on a path that went against his father’s expectations.
On this path, he would walk alone, and he was destined to be lonely.
Whether fortunate or unfortunate, he would bear full responsibility.
He couldn’t be completely brave, and he just wanted to curl up in Xu Jiale’s arms for a while—
This Alpha had given him the first temporary mark in his life.
Fu Xiaoyu suddenly thought, would Xu Jiale remember him many years from now? Would he remember his first time, this clumsy and silent Omega?
This thought made him more vulnerable than ever.
…
Xu Jiale waited until the trembling of the Omega in his arms finally stopped, then gently lifted Fu Xiaoyu’s face from his chest and asked softly, “Are you still feeling uncomfortable?”
Fu Xiaoyu shook his head.
It was still painful, but he didn’t intend to say it.
When Xu Jiale held him like this, he realized he had bitten too hard. There were bloody bite marks on Xu Jiale’s collarbone, and he carefully touched the area, not daring to touch the wound directly, just the skin around it. He felt extremely sorry. Even though the Alpha was satisfying his needs, he had bitten him.
“Xu Jiale…”
“It’s alright.” However, Xu Jiale interrupted him before he could finish.
Fu Xiaoyu could only fall silent.
Once he had regained some semblance of rationality from their passionate lovemaking, he realized how awkward their current situation was.
He was lying on Xu Jiale’s bed, held closely by him, and he wanted to talk to Xu Jiale, but he felt stiff and didn’t know how to start.
“Come on, I can take you to the bathroom now.”
Xu Jiale ruffled his hair and then lifted him up.
As they got up, the sheets were pulled down by their movements, revealing the bedsheets underneath.
Fu Xiaoyu quickly noticed it.
His breathing became a bit faster, and he discreetly used his toes to tug at the corner of the sheets, trying to cover up the marks on the sheets.
Xu Jiale saw it and couldn’t help but smile a little.
But he didn’t say anything because he suddenly didn’t want to shatter Fu Xiaoyu’s self-esteem every time.
He used to find the way Omegas clung to their pride annoying, but now, seeing Fu Xiaoyu discreetly preserving his dignity, his mood was different from the past.
That gesture was somewhat like Xi’an, careful about cleanliness, adjusting the cat litter after using the toilet. It actually made him seem quite cute.
Earlier, while he was holding Fu Xiaoyu, Xu Jiale had already filled the bathtub in the main bathroom with warm water and added a few drops of Zumalong’s orange-scented essential oil.
So when they entered the bathroom, he gently placed the naked Fu Xiaoyu in the bathtub and adjusted the water temperature.
As Xu Jiale was about to leave, Fu Xiaoyu couldn’t hold back and suddenly wrapped his arms around Xu Jiale’s neck, “Xu Jiale, aren’t you going to bathe?”
The bathtub was large enough for two people to fit comfortably.
This thought made him feel a bit embarrassed, to the point where he excused himself silently, and even pondered seriously:
“Xu Jiale, you should probably take a bath too.”
“I have some things to do. I’ll take a shower later.”
Fu Xiaoyu felt a bit disappointed, but at that moment, Xu Jiale reached underwater and gently massaged Fu Xiaoyu’s abdomen, saying softly, “Soak in the hot bath for a while, it’ll make you feel better. After you’re done, I’ll take you out to eat something, you’re probably hungry.”
Just that one phrase, “After you’re done, I’ll take you out to eat something,” made Fu Xiaoyu happy. He couldn’t believe how his emotions could fluctuate so much in just a few seconds. But that phrase held significant meaning—
Without that promise, everything might have felt cut off because of the delay caused by his heat. But with it, he believed that happiness and tenderness could continue.
The bathroom was warm, and the temperature and water level in the bathtub were perfect. As he lay down, he felt every pore in his body relax.
Fu Xiaoyu took Xu Jiale’s advice, soaked for a while, and then stepped out of the bathtub.
While drying himself with a gray thick towel that Xu Jiale had hung nearby, he suddenly felt a bit curious. Even though he was alone in the bathroom, he turned his head and looked around, and after making sure that there was no one around, he quietly sniffed the towel that Xu Jiale had used. There was no minty scent, but it had a pleasant scent, the kind you’d find in detergent used to wash fresh laundry.
It smelled good.
Strangely, he found everything about Xu Jiale to be so pleasant, not just the minty scent on his body but also the orange-scented essential oil he used, the mildly cool fragrance of the detergent – everything about Xu Jiale was delightful to him.
At that moment, Fu Xiaoyu realized that he didn’t have any clothes to wear after his shower.
He had never experienced such an awkward situation before, so he tentatively opened the bathroom door, hoping to call out to Xu Jiale.
But as he opened the door, he noticed that on top of the small cabinet by the door, Xu Jiale had neatly laid out the clothes he had prepared for Fu Xiaoyu. It was a set of deep blue pajamas, and when he unfolded them, he shook them out, accidentally revealing a pair of black boxers neatly rolled inside.
Xu Jiale’s thoughtfulness even made him a bit embarrassed.
Fu Xiaoyu picked up the boxers, hugged the deep blue pajamas, and couldn’t help but let out a faint, joyful chuckle.
…
Fu Xiaoyu was tall, so Xu Jiale’s clothes were slightly loose on him. The boxers, in particular, felt a bit loose at the waist and legs, as if the wind might blow in.
Though not a perfect fit, wearing them made him feel light and carefree.
Heat, and wearing the partner’s clothes afterward – all of this belonged to the mysterious world of adults that he had secretly longed for. So every time he experienced a bit more, he felt excited.
Fu Xiaoyu walked around the living room but didn’t find Xu Jiale. He could hear the sound of the washing machine running, which made him wonder what Xu Jiale was washing.
As he curiously returned to the master bedroom, he found the answer. The deep blue bedding had been completely replaced with cream-colored ones, indicating that his discreet attempt to cover the sheet with the blanket hadn’t gone unnoticed by Xu Jiale.
Not only the bedding, but the shirt and pants he had discarded on the floor were also gone, presumably taken for laundry.
It was surprising that the usually laid-back Xu Jiale had efficiently done housework while he was taking a bath.
Fu Xiaoyu raised his head and finally spotted Xu Jiale’s silhouette through the glass door of the balcony. Despite it being winter, Xu Jiale’s A-level Alpha physique allowed him to stand outside in just his pajamas without feeling cold.
The balcony was covered in snow, but it had been swept to the side. Several flower pots were placed in the corners, but they were empty due to the cold.
Xu Jiale stood still, staring out at the street, and for a moment, even though there was a glass door between them, Fu Xiaoyu was sure that Xu Jiale had sighed.
Sometimes, Fu Xiaoyu had a strange feeling that the Xu Jiale who appeared cool, lazy, humorous, and gentle in front of others was just a persona. The real Xu Jiale was hidden in that sigh and the lonely silhouette cloaked in the night.
A strange and tender feeling welled up inside Fu Xiaoyu, and he couldn’t help but push the door open, stepping out onto the chilly balcony.
Xu Jiale heard the door opening and was somewhat surprised. “You’re ready so soon?”
The tall Alpha had a cigarette dangling from his mouth, speaking somewhat muffledly, exuding a bit of nonchalance. In his hand, he held a pair of white underwear that had already been soaped up.
Fu Xiaoyu couldn’t help but stand there, his face quickly flushing.
Th-those are his…
“What are you doing out here?” Xu Jiale squinted and wasn’t pleased that Fu Xiaoyu saw him in this state. But he wasn’t the type to act coy, so if Fu Xiaoyu saw it, he couldn’t be bothered to say much. He turned around and continued to smoke as if nothing happened.
However, after a while, he suddenly felt a body, fragrant with sandalwood, approaching him from behind. It was Fu Xiaoyu, who was embracing his waist.
“Xu Jiale…” Fu Xiaoyu’s voice carried a nasal tone, calling his name softly, in a sticky, gentle tone.
Xu Jiale paused, then said hoarsely, “I’m handwashing your underwear.”
This statement had a touch of answering a question not asked, but it was mostly an explanation to himself. Handwashing someone else’s underwear was far from cool, and Xu Jiale found it uncomfortable.
However, it had to be done, as leaving the clothes there would encourage bacterial growth and wasn’t good for an Omega’s health.
He was worried about such things, and that’s why he had chosen to wash the underwear while Fu Xiaoyu was taking a bath on the other side of the breezy balcony. Unexpectedly, Fu Xiaoyu still caught him in the act.
Xu Jiale couldn’t help but release an irritated smoke ring.
Fu Xiaoyu remained silent behind him for a while before leaning against his back and speaking in a quiet voice, “No one has ever washed anything for me before. Not even my father.”
Even his father, Fu Jing, hadn’t done it.
He had been busy with survival since he could remember, so household chores hadn’t been a priority. All clothes, both outerwear and underwear, had been tossed into the old washing machine together.
He only realized this wasn’t hygienic when he had grown up.
“Are you cold?” Xu Jiale asked in a softer tone.
Fu Xiaoyu didn’t want to give Xu Jiale a reason to send him back inside, so he pressed his nose against Xu Jiale’s scent gland and said, “Not cold.”
Xu Jiale didn’t say anything, but he suddenly sped up his washing, then rinsed and wrung out the clothing. After finishing, he held up the underwear and turned to face Fu Xiaoyu, extending his arms. “Come.”
Fu Xiaoyu even paused for a moment—a bit confused. But Xu Jiale was patiently waiting for him.
Fu Xiaoyu didn’t hesitate further; he approached Xu Jiale and got in his arms, taking a posture similar to a small cat clinging to an Alpha.
As soon as they entered the room, the cat, Xia’an, pounced on them again. However, this time, it didn’t clutch Xu Jiale’s pants as before, but wagged its furry tail and circled them.
As Xu Jiale sat down, he threw the wet underwear into the dryer on the way and then held Fu Xiaoyu while sitting on the sofa.
When he sat down, Xia’an jumped up and lay beside Xu Jiale’s thigh, its round eyes occasionally glancing at Fu Xiaoyu, as if pondering the identity of this unexpected guest.
Xu Jiale reached out and petted Xia’an’s head, although it was somewhat perfunctory. He then asked Fu Xiaoyu in a low voice, “Are you hungry? What would you like to eat?”
Fu Xiaoyu was indeed hungry. During his heat, Omegas often had an increased appetite due to the energy loss. But he said almost unconsciously, “Do you have a vegetable salad?”
Xu Jiale fixed his gaze on the Omega in his arms for a long while. Fu Xiaoyu started to feel uneasy, but Xu Jiale’s lips suddenly curled up. “I don’t serve tasteless leafy greens here.”
Fu Xiaoyu didn’t know if Xu Jiale was giving a serious answer or teasing him. He asked, “Do you have yogurt?”
“Fu Xiaoyu,” Xu Jiale cut straight to the point, saying each word distinctly, “there are no healthy meals, no leafy greens, and no low-fat foods tonight.”
Fu Xiaoyu was a bit flustered and could only look at Xu Jiale, then hesitantly said, “I’ll gain weight…”
He truly would gain weight.
“Did you use to be overweight when you were young?” Xu Jiale squinted and pushed up his gold-rimmed glasses.
Fu Xiaoyu’s body trembled slightly, even though he felt embarrassed, he still softly admitted, “Yes, I was chubby for a while during junior high.”
Yes, he had been quite round during his early adolescence. His face was round, his eyes were round, and he was such a diligent and studious character that despite his exceptional pheromones, very few Alphas pursued him.
Growing up, he was strictly disciplined by Fu Jing regarding his studies, and he didn’t dare to be vain or to indulge in fun activities. This continued until the vacation before he went abroad, during which he began his plan.
He jogged four to five kilometers every day, ate high-protein low-fat foods, and avoided sugar, oily foods.. He lived like a hermit, and by the time he went abroad, he had transformed himself completely.
Afterward, he rarely returned to his hometown. Part of it was due to the growing distance between him and Fu Jing, but perhaps another part was due to the fact that he didn’t want to revisit the dim past from the depths of his heart.
In reality, Xu Jiale had long suspected. Very few people in this world go from an ordinary appearance to a more extraordinary one.
Jin Chu, his ex husband might be an example, and these lucky individuals often have enough self-confidence and security that they tend to be more relaxed about their looks. Even if they have times when they gain weight or have imperfections, they can maintain a carefree attitude.
Fu Xiaoyu, on the other hand, maintained his physique and appearance with an almost pathological level of self-discipline, indicating that much of his beauty was acquired postnatally through hard work and determination.
Xu Jiale had always believed that he liked “born beauties.” He enjoyed that relaxed, lazy sense of beauty.
But when Omega admitted to being “chubby,” his expression was that of someone who was confessing to a crime, and he lowered his head with a dejected brow and eyes.
At that moment, Xu Jiale’s heart suddenly constricted, and he even felt a twinge, as if in pain.
“Fu Xiaoyu, is Han Jiangque handsome?” He cradled Fu Xiaoyu’s face, softly asking.
Of course.
Fu Xiaoyu thought dimly, feeling there was no need to answer.
“He used to be the number one pretty boy at North Third High, you know.”
Xu Jiale spoke slowly. “But you don’t know that, in high school, he was younger and developed more slowly. He was just over 1.6 meters tall, shorter than Wen Ke. Back then, he got really annoyed when we called him ‘Han Princess.’ But now he’s 1.92 meters tall, and calling him ‘Han Princess’ isn’t as irritating.”
Fu Xiaoyu remained silent but kept his cat-like eyes fixed on Xu Jiale, clearly listening attentively.
“Then there’s me,” Xu Jiale said, a lazy smile on his face. “I don’t look too bad, do I? After all, in high school, I had countless people chasing after me. But at that time, I had something really annoying going on; I had a lot of acne on my chin.”
“When I dated people back then, I was most afraid of them staring at my chin, as if they were looking at my pimples. Now it’s different, I don’t care anymore.”
As Xu Jiale was saying this, he lifted Fu Xiaoyu’s hand and placed it on his chin. It felt a bit prickly because of the start of facial hair growth, but Fu Xiaoyu no longer felt the imperfections Xu Jiale described.
Still, it was the first time his fingertips had touched an Alpha’s chin, and he couldn’t resist exploring it curiously.
“All of that will pass,” Xu Jiale looked at the Omega in his arms and held back from giving a lengthy lecture. Instead, he just chuckled lazily and said softly, “Fu Xiaoyu, it’s all in the past, so don’t let it bother you anymore.”
“Um,” Fu Xiaoyu replied softly after a while, almost like a purring kitten.
Being held by an Alpha in such an intimate manner made him feel warm and safe all over. For some reason, he drifted off and thought about Xu Jiale’s comment that he “didn’t look too bad.” Suddenly, he felt this assessment wasn’t entirely fair, and he couldn’t help but whisper softly in Xu Jiale’s ear, “Xu Jiale, I think you’re really handsome.”
Not just “not too bad.”
When he said this, he immediately felt embarrassed.
He was so naive and foolish, and Xu Jiale didn’t even ask for his opinion.
Xu Jiale raised an eyebrow and scrutinized him for a moment. “I already know,” he said casually.
His narrow eyes had a cunning, foxy look in them, and after a pause, he asked with a mischievous tone, “Fu Xiaoyu, who’s more handsome, Han Princess or me?”
Fu Xiaoyu suddenly fell silent.
To his own surprise, he immediately had an answer.
But no matter what, he wasn’t going to answer.
Because acknowledging that Han Jiangque was less attractive after one intimate encounter would make him seem too superficial and disrespectful of their friendship. It would be shameful.
“Alright, I won’t ask,” Xu Jiale said somewhat dispiritedly, not pushing for an answer. Instead, he asked in a low voice, “do you like seafood?”
“Yes.”
“That’s great,” Xu Jiale blinked, “I’m a seafood peeling master.”
“There’s a fantastic seafood restaurant not far from here,” Xu Jiale said. “Their drunken crab pincers are the signature dish. How about trying them?”
Fu Xiaoyu looked up at his Alpha. His Alpha, for now.
This unexpected thought sent shivers down his spine.
Before, his self-control had held firm, but now, he had a hard time maintaining his composure. He nodded quietly.
“By the way, what would you like to drink?” Xu Jiale suddenly remembered this question and paused before continuing, “Sparkling water? I have Perrier.”
This time, he suggested a healthier option.
But Fu Xiaoyu thought, “Screw it,” and softly said, “I’d like a cola.”
At that moment, Xia’an, who had been lying next to them, suddenly raised its head and let out a meow that seemed to carry a warning.
“Sugar-free,” Fu Xiaoyu added sheepishly after another momentary burst of courage.
