Disciplinary Code chapter 79
That evening, Ji Yao returned later than usual.
Jiang Heng wiped his hands, covered the pot, and for the sixth time, checked the time on his phone, contemplating whether to call Ji Yao to ask if he was working overtime. Just then, he heard the lock on the door being twisted open from the outside.
A rush of cold air flowed in through the wide-open door, immediately dispelling the warmth inside the room. As Jiang Heng stepped out of the kitchen, he saw Ji Yao, brimming with excitement, gazing at him.
Ji Yao looked unusually enthusiastic, his eyes sparkling brightly. His right hand was hidden behind his back, holding a large bouquet of champagne roses that couldn’t be concealed by his body, leaving only a few “stray” roses peeping out from behind his waist.
“Guess what,” Ji Yao said, “I’ve brought you something special.”
Having a wish casually fulfilled was one thing, and Jiang Heng was mentally prepared for it in advance, but seeing Ji Yao’s excitement, his eyes lit up, and a small spark of joy ignited within him.
His eyes softened, and his gaze, which had been sharp moments ago, turned into a warm and affectionate sea. His entire being radiated a tender and delightful atmosphere, and it even made Ji Yao feel happy.
With his improved mood, Jiang Heng was willing to indulge in some playful banter with Ji Yao, involving their shared little secrets. He raised an eyebrow and playfully said, “Let me guess… Did you buy me chocolates?”
Ji Yao kicked off his shoes, walked into the room barefoot, and with a mischievous smile, shook his head.
“Guess again,” Ji Yao said.
Jiang Heng, puzzled, asked, “It can’t be flowers, can it?”
“You guessed it!” Ji Yao exaggeratedly stood up straight, brought the bouquet from behind him to the front, and like a domineering CEO, thrust the flowers into Jiang Heng’s arms, saying with a grin, “For you, my love!”
The light-colored champagne roses in his hand emitted a faint fragrance. Jiang Heng lowered his head to take a look and noticed that this bouquet of flowers was completely different from the one Ji Yao had sent him through express delivery when they were in the same city. These roses were all fresh, with no withered petals. They appeared to be of similar size, and each one had cool water droplets sprinkled on them, indicating careful selection.
Jiang Heng had lived for so long, and his “wishes” had never been taken to heart like this. He held the bouquet tightly in his hands and wanted to react with an exaggerated expression of surprise, then say some flirtatious words to lighten the mood, just like before. However, when he opened his mouth, nothing came out.
His chest felt as if it had been filled by this bouquet of flowers, with no room for anything else. For a moment, Jiang Heng’s chest heaved, his mind went momentarily blank, and he instinctively hugged the flowers tightly.
“Do you like them?” Ji Yao asked with a smile. “I spent quite some time choosing them.”
Ji Yao also didn’t know what he was so excited about, but ever since Jiang Heng had mentioned his “request,” it seemed like his dopamine levels had been in a constant state of excitement.
“It’s beautiful,” Jiang Heng said after a while. “Thank you.”
“You like it, and you can have more in the future, so you can try making requests a few more times,” Ji Yao said earnestly. “I’ll do my best to fulfill each request.”
Getting closer, Ji Yao suddenly lost his reservations, and with no inhibitions, he took a step forward, pressing Jiang Heng against the wall. He extended his arm to pin Jiang Heng’s hand to the wall behind him and said, “You should tell me if you want something, otherwise—mmph!”
Ji Yao’s words were cut off because Jiang Heng had kissed him.
That day, Jiang Heng was unusually daring, using his tongue to gently part Ji Yao’s lips and exploring until he grabbed the hand Ji Yao had tried to pull back, intertwining their fingers.
Before Ji Yao could finish his sentence, he was kissed, and he suddenly felt short of breath. Instinctively, he tilted his head backward to avoid Jiang Heng, but he was held in place.
Jiang Heng’s tongue swept across his mouth, and Ji Yao let out a muffled moan. His spine tingled with a sense of numbness, and even the corners of his eyes turned slightly red.
After a while, the intense kiss left him weak in the waist and legs, and he couldn’t help but press closer to Jiang Heng. Jiang Heng scooped him up, and with a smile, bit his lip.
“I…i’ll ask for more things in the future,” Jiang Heng said, his eyes softening. “I’ll also accept suggestions.”
