Decayed Vulgarian chapter 38
Playing Too Wild?
That night, no one mentioned the fact that Meng Yuan Cen was staying over, but they had both prepared for it. Shen Xun pulled out pillowcases and sheets from the closet, and when Meng Yuan Cen saw this, he helped prepare the pillows and blankets. Shen Xun also took out toothbrushes and towels from the closet, and Meng Yuan Cen took them and delivered them to the bathroom.
In reality, Shen Xun’s thinking was that even if Meng Yuan Cen didn’t stay the night tonight, there would come a day when he would stay, so why not get ready today and be done with it.
Meng Yuan Cen, on the other hand, thought that although Shen Xun hadn’t explicitly asked him to stay the night, his body was being quite honest. He couldn’t resist Shen Xun’s subtle enthusiasm. So, they were on the same page.
Shen Xun realized that he didn’t have work the next day, and for several days since he was on medical leave, which made him feel leisurely. He took out a book from the bookshelf called “Appreciating Classical Chinese Poetry” and started to read it slowly.
But before he could read a few pages, the door was pushed open with a creaking sound. Shen Xun raised his head, looking somewhat baffled and with a hint of sarcasm in his tone. “I thought you insisted on sleeping in the guest room?”
This goes back to half an hour ago.
Half an hour ago, Meng Yuan Cen proactively found Shen Xun and firmly expressed that they should sleep in separate beds. The reason he gave was that he was afraid he might accidentally press Shen Xun’s injured right hand while sleeping.
Shen Xun said several times that it was fine and that Meng Yuan Cen shouldn’t make a big deal out of it. If that didn’t work, they could simply sleep with their heads at opposite ends.
Unfortunately, Meng Yuan Cen still refused to agree. He even gave the reason that Shen Xun found quite ridiculous – “I’m afraid my leg might accidentally press your right hand.” Shen Xun felt that it was a rather far-fetched excuse, but he argued with Meng Yuan Cen for a few more sentences.
Meng Yuan Cen’s response was, “But you can’t deny the possibility of it happening, right?”
Afterward, he added, “I know you really want to sleep with me, and I want to as well. But I need to wait for your hand to heal. It’s just a few days; please bear with it a bit longer.”
Shen Xun felt a mix of anger and amusement, and eventually thought, “Whatever.” He was a lawyer after all, and there was no point in arguing. If Meng Yuan Cen didn’t want to sleep together, he could always come up with a seemingly reasonable excuse. He couldn’t sleep with him. The excuses he found were quite grandiose, indeed.
So, when he saw Meng Yuan Cen enter the room now, Shen Xun felt a sense of satisfaction. He glanced at Meng Yuan Cen and expressed similar sentiments, asking once again, “Didn’t you say we should sleep separately?”
“I can’t sleep right now, so I came to see you. I’ll go back in a while.”
Shen Xun replied without raising his head, “I don’t have anything interesting for you to look at.”
Meng Yuan Cen countered, “Of course, you’re interesting.”
Shen Xun remained silent and turned a page of his book with a slight frown, making a rustling sound in the room.
Meng Yuan Cen lifted the blanket, sat down beside Shen Xun, and then covered him with the blanket. “How does your right hand feel now?”
Shen Xun responded irritably, “It’s much better already, and it can handle a bit of pressure.”
Meng Yuan Cen seized upon the first part of Shen Xun’s response, “It’s improved so much in just a few hours?”
Shen Xun sighed and explained, “It was only a few hours, how can I say it got worse?”
Beauty is irresistible, even for professor Meng. He made some moves and then some more moves. Of course, he purposely avoided Shen Xun’s right hand. Every time he made a move, Shen Xun shrank back. He knew Shen Xun was avoiding him, but he had no intention of stopping. He pushed Shen Xun to the edge of the bed, and Shen Xun was about to fall off.
“Meng Yuan Cen, let me read my book!”
People tend to explode in silence.
Meng Yuan Cen remained quiet for a few seconds after Shen Xun’s outburst, then he cautiously asked, as he traced circles in the palm of Shen Xun’s left hand with his fingertips, “Are you really angry? Is it because I won’t sleep with you?”
“Who’s angry?” Shen Xun repeated. After a moment of thought, he explained, “I just don’t like being interrupted when I’m reading.”
Meng Yuan Cen didn’t expose the truth. He just pretended to accept Shen Xun’s explanation at face value. “You do have a book to read. But I don’t have a book.”
Shen Xun tilted his chin in the direction of the bookshelf, “You can read whatever you like; choose a book and take it to read.”
Feeling Shen Xun’s tone had softened, Meng Yuan Cen began to push his luck, “But today, I don’t want to read.”
Shen Xun turned a page in his book with a loud rustling noise. He wanted to pretend he hadn’t heard anything, but the persistent gaze at his side made him give in. “Alright, you want to watch a movie, don’t you? I’ll get my laptop for you.”
Meng Yuan Cen saw the opportunity and took it, “Yes, please.”
Shen Xun was about to get out of bed, but Meng Yuan Cen stopped him, saying, “Don’t move, let me get it. Just tell me where it is.”
Once he had retrieved the laptop, Meng Yuan Cen sat back beside Shen Xun, watching as Shen Xun entered the password. Then he took the laptop back and settled it in his lap.
The desktop was filled with software shortcuts on the left and yellow folders on the right. There were only two MP4 files, lonely and conspicuous, in the middle. The file names were in English.
Meng Yuan Cen fixed his gaze on the English words and understood everything.
Inside, he was eager to try out, but on the surface, he showed no excitement. He calmly asked, “Do you have anything on your computer that shouldn’t be seen?”
Shen Xun raised his head and gave him a strange look. “Everything can be seen. There’s nothing inappropriate on my computer.”
“Do you have earphones?”
“Both in-ear and over-the-ear. Which one do you want?”
“In-ear, over-the-ear is uncomfortable with my glasses.”
Following Shen Xun’s instructions, Meng Yuan Cen retrieved Bluetooth earphones and began watching the movie in a well-behaved manner, without making any noise or small movements.
People can be strange sometimes. As Shen Xun wished, Meng Yuan Cen was no longer “disturbing” him. However, he was beginning to feel uneasy, and he couldn’t focus on his book, lost in thought several times.
He couldn’t help turning his eyes towards what Meng Yuan Cen was watching. He was just curious about what was so engaging and focused. To his surprise, one glance was enough to leave him dumbfounded.
Meng Yuan Cen was watching adult content (GV).
Shen Xun’s fixed, undisguised gaze was impossible for Meng Yuan Cen to miss. Unfazed, he casually turned the laptop screen in Shen Xun’s direction. Gazing critically at the content, he calmly analyzed, “I feel the excitement in this part is staged.”
Shen Xun’s strange urges were stirring within him. Meng Yuan Cen pointed and commented on the screen, “And the size is quite average, isn’t it?”
Shen Xun asked, unable to resist, “How did you think of watching something like this?”
Meng YuanCen matter-of-factly replied, “You had two adult movies on your desktop with very direct file names. I spotted them right away. Besides, isn’t this the sort of thing people watch when it’s late at night?”
“Aren’t you afraid of having a reaction after watching it?”
“No, this is too vanilla,” Meng Yuan Cen stated. “I’ve seen much more explicit content.”
Shen Xun glanced at Meng Yuan Cen with an enigmatic expression.
Meng Yuan Cen briefly explained, “Like using special props, wearing special clothing, or engaging in various unexpected scenarios.”
Seeing Shen Xun’s slightly heated ears, he continued, “If you’re interested and want to try it, I can teach you, of course, once your hand is better.”
Shen Xun closed his book with a slap and said, “Some things I’ve seen are enough; I don’t need you to teach me.”
Meng Yuan Cen added, “Do you want to try it once?”
“No.”
“Why not?”
Shen Xun pursed his lips.
“What’s there to be embarrassed about? Just say what you think. I need to know your preferences so that our intimate life can be harmonious.”
Shen Xun stared at Meng Yuan Cen’s face, wondering how he could say such things without any psychological burden.
“Or is it that deep down you actually want to try it, but you’re too shy to admit it directly?”
“No, I don’t.”
Doesn’t this response sound like he’s trying to cover up something?
“Is it that you just don’t like things getting too wild in bed?”
Shen Xun remained silent.
Meng Yuan Cen had to relent, “Alright, let’s just pretend I didn’t say anything. I was a bit too hasty.”
He turned his gaze back to the movie. During their conversation, the movie had progressed significantly, and he dragged the progress bar back a bit. He pushed up his glasses with the tip of his finger and was about to continue watching.
“…But you didn’t specify what you want,” he suddenly heard Shen Xun’s voice, as soft as a mosquito’s whisper.
In his field of vision, Shen Xun lowered his head, and his reddened ears were quite noticeable. “I can’t just agree to anything; some fetishes are too wild for me. Most of it I can go along with… if it’s something you really want.”
Several seconds passed, and there was no response from Meng Yuan Cen. Shen Xun didn’t look up, and he suddenly came up with another possibility. He asked with difficulty, “So, your intention isn’t that… you want to try all the things you mentioned earlier…”
“No,” Meng Yuan Cen denied. “I just gave a few examples.”
If he had a tail, it would probably be sticking up victoriously right now. After weighing the pros and cons, he picked one that he felt was within Shen Xun’s tolerance range. Leaning in close to Shen Xun’s ear, he whispered, “How about a mirror?”
Shen Xun remained silent for a while and then replied, “You have to buy it yourself; I’m definitely not spending a penny on it.”
Meng Yuan Cen chuckled, “That’s for sure.”
