Blinded by Lust chapter 47

In the Audi, Wu Bie held Huo Zhanyan and kissed him lightly, their lips almost inseparable. Huo Zhanyan felt a little flushed from the faint smell of alcohol, and it seemed he was a bit tipsy too.

“Wu Bie, I missed you a lot.” Huo Zhanyan pressed Wu Bie’s hand against his cheek, gently rubbing.

Wu Bie’s fingers uncontrollably slid along Zhanyan’s cheek, feeling heartbroken. He assured her, “I won’t leave anymore. I won’t go anywhere. After you graduate, let’s get married. Do you think your parents will agree to let you get married to me? If they don’t agree right away, it’s okay; I’ll definitely find a way to make them agree.”

Huo Zhanyan was moved by the moment. At this instant, he desperately wished he were “Zhanyan.” If he were “Zhanyan,” all problems would be easily solved. But unfortunately, he was not; he could only occupy “Zhanyan’s” identity to hear Wu Bie’s confession.

“Wu Bie, do you really want to marry me?”

When it came to marriage, Wu Bie became excited. The alcohol numbed his tongue and nerves, making it hard for him to speak clearly, but his desire to marry Zhanyan was strong and vivid.

“Marriage! I, Wu Bie, must marry you in this lifetime… then we can have ten or eight kids… and be together every day…”

Huo Zhanyan chuckled lightly, realizing he was being too much. Not only had he deceived Wu Bie, but he also made Wu Bie’s wishes fall through. No wonder Wu Bie hated him so much.

But what could he do? He couldn’t help but like Wu Bie, and he couldn’t stop himself from seeking him out. He would rather have Wu Bie blame and resent him than see him with someone else.

“Wu Bie, I love you.”

Wu Bie, who had been smiling foolishly, gradually froze, staring fixedly at Huo Zhanyan, his eyes becoming much clearer.

Huo Zhanyan’s heart skipped a beat. Could it be…?

“I love you too.” Wu Bie hugged Huo Zhanyan’s shoulders, and the two kissed again.

A loud honking interrupted them. Huo Zhanyan stood up and looked up; a car’s headlights shone directly into his eyes through the windshield. A car was coming in looking for a parking spot. He glanced down at Wu Bie, who had already fallen into a deep sleep.

Huo Zhanyan sighed, took off Wu Bie jacket, and covered him with it. Then he moved to the driver’s seat, started the car, and slowly drove out of the parking lot.

The person lying in the back seat was not sleeping peacefully, occasionally mumbling in his dreams, “Zhanyan… where did you go…”

Huo Zhanyan looked at Wu Bie through the rearview mirror, sadness hidden in his gaze. They hadn’t seen each other for just over half a month, but he felt like time was dragging on. What should he do?

Wu Bie’s car drove directly into the underground parking garage of the neighborhood without needing to greet the security guard. After circling around inside, Huo Zhanyan finally found Wu Bie’s parking spot. Once he parked, he helped him out of the car.

At this time, Wu Bie was already sleeping soundly. With the alcohol, he was like a puddle of mud, and all his weight rested on Huo Zhanyan. A person and a package are not the same; a hundred-pound person who loses consciousness is much heavier than a hundred-pound package. Huo Zhanyan had to carry him.

Taking Wu Bie home at this hour would surely alarm Chen Xian next door. Huo Zhanyan entered the elevator, took out the elevator card from his bag, and pressed the button for the ninth floor.

Zhangting had always managed the rental house. This was Huo Zhanyan’s first time back since it was rented. As soon as he opened the door, the internet-connected appliances lit up one by one, and the living room brightened instantly. This apartment was two floors above Wu Bie’s, with the same layout.

Huo Zhanyan carried Wu Bie into the room. His dress made it inconvenient for him to move, so he planned to take a quick shower, change clothes, and then help Wu Bie tidy up.

Zhangting was meticulous, ensuring everything at home was well-stocked. Huo Zhanyan quickly took a shower and found the tracksuit Wu Bie had lent him in the wardrobe. By the time he returned to the room, Wu Bie had kicked off the covers, his suit pants unbuttoned, and his shirt pulled up, revealing his waistband and toned abdomen.

Seeing this, Huo Zhanyan guessed that he was uncomfortable while sleeping and had tried to undress himself but fell asleep halfway.

Huo Zhanyan walked over, hesitated for a moment, then filled a basin with water. He undressed Wu Bie and carefully wiped him down. He changed the water three times, scrubbing repeatedly until the strong smell of alcohol on Wu Bie’s body finally faded.

“Wu Bie.”

Huo Zhanyan sat on the edge of the bed, the warm light from the bedside lamp illuminating Wu Bie’s face. When would he have the chance to see such an unguarded Wu Bie, so vulnerable and manageable?

Wu Bie, still in his dreams, seemed to hear Huo Zhanyan’s voice, letting out a soft hum as he turned over, lying flat on the bed.

Having seen videos and photos of Wu Bie before, Huo Zhanyan was familiar with his muscles, but he had never touched them up close. He couldn’t help but reach out and poke; the relaxed muscles were soft, just like the sleeping Wu Bie, without any hint of aggression.

“Wu Bie.”

Huo Zhanyan wasn’t testing whether Wu Bie was deeply asleep; he was confirming whether the person in front of him was real. His large hand moved from Wu Bie’s chest muscles to his neck, gently pressing down on the prominent Adam’s apple, cupping Wu Bie’s chin.

The warm body temperature and the beating pulse—a vibrant Wu Bie was so close, within reach.

Huo Zhanyan leaned down and gently kissed Wu Bie’s cheek, then his lips, then his chin, and finally his neck. His lips sharply detected the veins on Wu Bie’s neck. He wanted to bite down, to leave a mark on Wu Bie’s body. At the moment his jaw tightened, he bit down hard.

Hearing Wu Bie let out a soft moan of pain, Huo Zhanyan finally released him. But he didn’t dare to get up; even though there was only Wu Bie and himself in the room, he couldn’t face his own shame. He felt embarrassed that he had a reaction.

The rushing blood felt like it surged into Huo Zhanyan’s brain, making him both excited and dizzy, losing his ability to think. He tried to calm down, but after waiting for a long time, his body’s excitement still hadn’t weakened. He turned to look at Wu Bie’s hand hanging down beside him.

After a long time, the ambiguous, restless atmosphere filled the entire room. Huo Zhanyan knelt on one leg beside the bed, not daring to look at Wu Bie’s face, panting as he picked up the things on Wu Bie’s hand. When he finished tidying up, his foot hit the ground, and he nearly fell to his knees, barely steadying himself by holding onto the headboard.

Looking down at Wu Bie’s sleeping face, Huo Zhanyan inexplicably kissed Wu Bie’s lips again. He couldn’t stay in the same room with Wu Bie any longer; he couldn’t control himself. For him, even Wu Bie’s breath was immensely attractive.

Huo Zhanyan hurriedly helped Wu Bie get dressed, then grabbed the basin of water and fled in panic. He found a room next door to lie down in. He couldn’t imagine how much Wu Bie would remember when he woke up the next morning, or what expression Wu Bie would have when facing him. But he was grateful for the present moment; just for this night, it would be enough for him to savor for a lifetime.

In the dimly lit room, Wu Bie covered his head and hummed, “Hmm… Zhanyan… I dreamt that I kissed you…”

After talking to himself, the room fell silent for a few seconds, and then Wu Bie burst into a pale, powerless smile.

He found it amusing; he was the one being ridiculous. Where did Zhanyan come from? He really drank too much; being single for too long was causing hallucinations.

After lying in bed until he could move his limbs, Wu Bie got up with his eyes closed. Relying on his memory, he first went to the bathroom to urinate, then splashed cold water on his face from the sink. Finally, his alcohol-affected brain started functioning, and his body gradually returned to normal, with his blurry vision becoming clearer.

The surroundings felt somewhat unfamiliar. Wu Bie placed his hand on the edge of the mirror, and his gaze was quickly drawn to the red marks on his neck, as something flashed through his mind.

“Zhanyan, how did you get here?”

“Hubby…”

“Hubby, give me a kiss.”

Fragments of last night replayed in Wu Bie’s mind. Although it was a man’s voice, it had a woman’s face. That blurry yet familiar face gradually became clearer. Huo Zhanyan? No way! How could it be? Huo Zhanyan was still attending university in the neighboring province; even if he flew…

A noise came from the living room, causing Wu Bie to shudder as if he had been electrocuted. It couldn’t be…

Wu Bie quickly ran out of the bathroom, pulled open the door, and saw the hallway light was on, but no one was there… Was he hallucinating?

Before he could breathe a sigh of relief, the sound came again from the kitchen. His heart jumped into his throat. He hurried forward, and a tall, familiar figure appeared before him.

It was Huo Zhanyan.

Upon hearing the footsteps, Huo Zhanyan, who had been struggling with frying eggs, stopped. He turned around, and the surprise in his eyes quickly faded, replaced by a calm demeanor as he greeted Wu Bie, “Morning, you’re awake.”

Wu Bie’s temples throbbed. He had a ton of questions but didn’t know where to start. “How did you end up in my house?”

Huo Zhanyan didn’t correct Wu Bie but explained, “You got drunk last night, so I brought you back.”

Wu Bie’s head ached so much that his features twisted together. He glanced at the wig and long dress on the sofa. It felt like he had been struck by lightning, realizing that everything that happened last night was real; it wasn’t just a dream.

What was this guy thinking? How could he dare to flaunt himself in women’s clothes? How could he wear women’s clothes and deceive him again? How could he kiss a man?

Wu Bie’s expression was complicated; he couldn’t quite tell if it was shock or anger, but it certainly wasn’t a pleasant sight. Huo Zhanyan lowered his head, like a child who had done something wrong.

“Do you remember now?”

“Get out!” Wu Bie stepped forward and grabbed Huo Zhanyan by the collar. He didn’t want to remember or hear any more from Huo Zhanyan. His raised fist remained suspended in the air as he breathed heavily, repeating, “Get out of my house!”

Huo Zhanyan bit his lip, his voice pitifully small, “This is my house; your place is downstairs.”

Wu Bie looked up in panic, glancing around. It felt like someone was squeezing his throat. He wanted to curse but couldn’t find the words; all the curses stuck in his throat. He turned and went back to the room, grabbed his clothes, and left without looking back.
